This was an unexpected addition to my, 'Quick! Make a card, you've forgotten to do' pile! Well I hadn't forgot, I have made one but suddenly realised, I'd made it using the same Pepper and Friends doggie stamp I used last year. (I love that stamp!) So I quickly printed out one of my own digi's. I bet there's not very many hairy Airedale's on Christmas cards out there this year, or any year, and not one that's chewed up your socks, (underwear) and shoes! This is George, I've made him into a Christmas card for his owners. You'll see I've given him a carpet, rather than 'grass' to sit on. (because I can!)
The 160gsm pink and green backing paper I bought last year in the sales, are by Papermania, Honey & Hugs, 'Festive Frolics'. I found them at the bottom of the 8x8 pile in a dark corner under my bench. I will definitely use them again to make another quick card, cos they are just so lovely, and I want to add more bling and maybe a bit more gold and silver.
The backing paper behind George I think is from Craft Creations, just a scrap I had left. I wanted to use it because the wallpaper in George's owner's house, reminds me of little Christmas trees, and they have a rusty browny pinky carpet so...
I cut out a second George and fitted him over the top with silicone glue, missing out his tail and all the curly bits and added loads of Stickles glitter glue. Hopefully it will be dry by tomorrow, ready to take, along with both George and his pal, Rufus's pressies... I wonder how far I'll get (One gate and two doors to unlock!) before I'm trampled on! I did think about giving the card a good chew on one of the corners...but maybe that was going a bit too far!
