Post it!

Just thought I'd post this other DT card I made for the new Quirky Challenge, 'Going Postal' I showed you a Quirky peek on Sunday, but didn't have time to blog about it then or even yesterday as I've made good use of the 'free' time (as if!!) I had over the Bank Holiday by doing some more doodling.
April 1st I revealed one of my first digi's, a little bear topper and I've been scribbling ever since! (if not before)
It's not as easy as you may think! And to answer some of your questions... yes, I'm definitely making my own shop, well, over the last few months hubby has been having a go. (Although, his use of colour in Photo Shop could do with some improvement!) He's very keen to add virtually anything I've ever drawn, including, some 'potato men' I did when I was two, a few cartoons and a shopping list! (It's ok, I've deleted that!) So, in the next few days, or even tomorrow, if it doesn't rain, snow or the computer blow up, if you should spot this logo on my side bar, you'll know what it's for. It would be lovely if you would pop over and say "Hi!" have a good laugh, moan, giggle or even share any ideas for improvement! Of course, if it were a 'real' shop we'd have Champagne and strawberries!! But maybe I'll doodle a freebie!!
Now!! Back to the card. I'm very pleased with it's out come. I found the papers while looking for others I still haven't found. (I must tidy up!)
Everything you see is from one sheet 12x12 scrap-booking paper. The flowers I made myself from Woodware punched out circles. Roughed them up a bit (oooh I'm soooo mean!!) then rubbed some ink over them. Added a few little 'envelopes' (also Woodware punches) and used a Martha Stewart Punch for the fern leaves, it's sooo my favourite leaf punch, just wish it would cut through thicker card too. I've added gems and 3D-ed the butterfly.
One of my followers appears to be missing (aw) PaddingtonPoo where are you! Never mind! We have a new one! The lovely Donna from Lil Diva Stamps!! (((wAvE)))
I've used a few of Donna's lovely images since I've been on the Stitchy Bear Design team and before ...
Here's a couple. The Nativity, seen Here and The Signs of Spring, posted HERE
Pop over to Donna's lovely blog and/or hunt out the link to the Stitchy Bear Digi shore, where you'll find, not only some FREEBIES for you to hunt out, but there's also 50% off anything you buy for the whole of MAY!! (yay!)
It's What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday tomorrow!! So 'see' you then! Off to hunt out some Challenges and then draw that freebie! Thank you for stopping by!!
