Hi everyone! (This where I usually wave at the screen half expecting someone to wave back) It's that Quirky time again. The Quirky Craft's new Challenge. Did you guess? No...course not. The new challenge was set by Cazzy and she has come up with something a little different. This fortnight 's challenge has a...
Postal Theme!
I must admit, I was wondering at first what to do. Then I always wonder what to do. But once you start to think. Post. Postman, Post lady, Stamps. The red post van, (Who's now thinking Postman Pat???) Letters, people writing and where the letters go once you send them etc etc... something usually comes into your mind (apart from what to have for tea) and in my case it was my K and Co papers... which I couldn't find, but then after going though my many 'useful boxes' hunting for them, I found a stamped Penny Black image that someone had swapped with me years ago. So I made a Christmas Card. (You can see the logic can't you!) I used The A4 Double sided card stock by Forever Friends, called 'Gift Wrapped'. Lovely and thick, shame to stick it on a card! Woodware punches for the scalloped Circles and snowflakes. MS for the lace trim and fern leaves. Cuttlebug die-cut for the corners, Promarkers to colour in. The freebie font, (which I've linked before) is called Honey Script. so you should have it!
While rummaging I also found some other papers with pretty flower postage stamps on them, so they turned out to be my second card (That was yesterday's clue by the way...Postbox and envelope on one sneaky peek and a bit of a postage stamp on the other) I'm not going to blog about that one today, I'll save it for later, but before you fall asleep, nip over to the Quirky Craft's Challenge and see it there along with all the Design Team's lovely cards, ATC's and scrapbookpages. Fabulous! Come and join in!
