Lorna's Email Entry for Mouse House Challenge

Two more entries have arrived via email from a Mum and daughter team! NantyLorna and KerrMiya, (famous for their ATC's) for my 'Not Mushroom for a Mouse, House' Challenge. This card was made by NantyLorna (or auntielorna, when she starts up her blog!) and KerrMiya's card can be seen in the post below this one. And Lorna writes...

Attached should be two separate pics - entries from Mum and I for your Mousey challenge. Mum's is the paler green duo-card, 6x4 portrait. Mine is the darker green many-folded affair. My one grew a wee story: (I love his story Lorna!!) Mummy Mouse is calling her son, Monty, to give him his seed lunchbox. Monty is hiding. Can you find him? ;o) Didn't start off that way, printed two A4 sheets with three different sizes of images just to see what took my fancy We've both really enjoyed putting our card together. I am at last at home, no more doggy sitting!! (very uncomfortable and not recommended!) No broken, or half broken fingers this time, only a chewed sock and a hairbrush!

It's Wednesday and What's On Yours?

Hi peoples! (((wave!)) It's Wednesday, the day that comes after Tuesday and before Thursday, which means, it's that time again when all us WOYWWer's go a snooping... Once again, this is not my desk, (as I'm still sitting on those dogs...) But there is some yummy crafty things, which I bought over the weekend, then put out of sight, in case the dogs found and ate them and then completely forgot until about five minutes ago! It's a bit like Christmas finding something you forgot you bought, even if it's been just a few days. (I have a terrible memory) So on my, I mean, on someone else's desk, you can see a card I've been trying to finish for well over a week, with my last weeks' freebie, Halloween Pumpkins shrunk down to make a topper or in this case a sider, as it's going on the side. Also there's some of those lovely little packets of 'Card Candy' (I love these!) and a couple of packets of papers, which were half price and a clear stamp and embossing folder, which were free with a magazine and a cute little Milton & Co that was also half price!
Anyway, it's gone midnight! When you read this, dash over to Julia's blog and get signed in. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, how was it, on the Moon? This is on timer, I'm (hopefully) at work, (not sure how, as I still don't have a car!!) There's still plenty of time to play along with my Not Mushroom for a Mouse, House Challenge. Email Entry For 'Not Mushroom For A Mouse, House' Challenge!

Here's another entry for the 'Not Mushroom for a Mouse, House' Challenge.
This lovely card is by Carole (with an e!) Carole says 'Here is my finished card. It is intended for a friend to wish them happiness in their new home. Carole's been a blogger for ages but still hasn't started her blog. I think we're all missing out on her lovely makes, don't you! I will enter this into Mr Linky for Carole, aka CamCraft!

Spot The Difference Winner!

Evening everyone. It's been trying it's hardest to rain here all day and now at last, it's pouring down! Hubby had the day off and has been back at our home all day, trying to mend my little car's gearbox/clutch or whatever. And no wonder it clanked and clanged and came to a stand still...picture shows all the broken whatumsabits that makes it easier to change gear...all completely mangled!! He's also told me, some thing's not right with the drive shaft...(oh-oh) Anyway, he's made a start, but doubts very much he'll have it really by Friday, let alone Wednesday, when I need it to go to my other work. So, I've been stuck here all day with the mad dogs...I feel a little bit like that Pepperoni Advert...as tho' tiny chunks of me have been eaten or bitten off! One of the dogs did manage to catch a pigeon, which very quickly left half it's feathers behind and luckily got away. And yes, one pair of socks have gone missing, my hair brush has been chewed to bits but so far, touch wood, no underwear!

Winner of spot the difference!?? (Click the pictures to make them bigger) Sorry I'm a bit late with this, I was going to post this yesterday, but very surprisingly, I was still getting the odd email in answer to my little spot the difference game.
The differences on my very last card for the OSAAT's DT (you can stop singing the song now!) Where was I? oh yes....the differences were of course... the buttons were a different colour, and the stars had been swapped round.
No one guessed what was odd or unusual about all three cards... which was.. there wasn't three cards, there was just ONE base card and everything had been fixed to the card with Blu Tac... One Teddy card opened sideways and the other, stood like tent and open upwards...
So, there wasn't an out right winner, although all who emailed did get the differences right, so between me, hubby, Frog the Cat, myself and I, we've decided the very first person who emailed me will win a prize...and that was....

Not Mushroom For A Mouse House Challenge is going on until next week, plenty of time to join in. Hi every one! Sorry there's been no craftiness. Still dog sitting, or more like, it's me...hanging on to their leads for dear life and being dragged off to Timbuktu! (...it's an awfully long walk back!!) I'm sure my arms are longer and my legs shorter! And on top of all that, my poor little car's gearbox/clutch completely ker-poohed on Friday and stopped dead on a railway line!!! (AARGGHH!) Managed to get it to a safe place (with no help of course!) and then had to wait two hours for the RAC... saw one drive by, but he must've been on his lunch hour. Anyway!! WOSEWW!!

Happy 1st of September!! Pinch and a kick, for being so quick! And what was I doing on this day last year????...let's have a look HERE Aw sooo cute, but enough of that!! Yes, this week it's WHAT'S ON SOMEONE ELSE'S WORKDESK WEDNESDAY!! (Sorry, didn't mean to shout!) This will be a very quickie post if you read it fast!!
I'm still dog sitting and nearly had to abandon WOYWW!! (No!!) But!! I thought, quick, take a pic of what's on this desk here. Not much space to craft in, but I have brought a couple of things with me (laptop!) and there's the start of the freebie, hiding beneath that, (hem-hem) magazine!! Poor hubby, I sent him back home to get my scanner so I could do the freebie! And, oho lookie, I wonder who that is on page 33 of Cardmaking and PaperCraft Magazine!? Anyone we know?? I must admit, to open a mag and see some of your cards on the page is a tiny weeny bit of a thrill! So, there you go, three minutes of fame!
Also on the desk, is, of course, can't leave home without them... my ProMakers! And a few moments later, after a sudden chocolate craving, a large jar of Nutella appears, complete with spoon.

Now, I know some of you are saying, where's the flippin' freebie then?? It'll be here soon, I promise. This is on timer, which I hope I have time to link in the morning, as I'll be at work, after walking the dogs but before I go I hope to add the freebie, if not look out for the post above this one! I've done the drawing, but it still needs to be tidied up a bit and seeing hubby has to go to bed now, (it's nearly midnight) as he gets up about 5, there's no way I can stay up typing in the same room til three in the morning...his snoring will put me off! (only kidding...It's Frog the cat, she moans about the light still being on!)
