Let's See, What's On Your Worktop Wednesday!? # 604

Morning! Yep..it's 4am and I should be in bed, snoring but I got hooked on watching a  steampuck tutorial, while I was drawing the freebie (scroll down) Anyway! It's WOYWW Time again. I hope you had a fabulous Christmas, even though it probably wasn't anything like you wanted, but at least we are safe and at the moment, well. Although I'm probably a little crazier than normal. Hubby, I'm pleased to say, has had his lockdown hair cut and his beard trimmed. I haven't finished anything that I planned so my desk is very much about the same as last week, only messier. I can just about get in the door!  But don't let that put you off of joining in. Nip over to Stamping Ground and have a go!  Sorry I didn't get around to every one last week. Will do better this week!

In the first picture I covered a 'broken Biscuits' box (the box was ok, it's the biscuits that were broken!) with some Christmas paper that I've had from year dot for all my 6x6 Christmas papers to go into. This should mean I'll have a bigger space to put them in somewhere! The next picture is all the things I was going to finish but didn't...

And in this picture you can see I've been using up all my nearly empty glue bottles sticking that paper on the biscuit box...(all biscuits eaten I'm affraid) Ps... the date thingy on the self, I keep forgetting to change, bet yer didn't notice that! Who spied the pussy cat Postit holder, so cute!

That's it from me...its nearly five in the morning now, so I spec I'll be late logging into Stamping Ground! See you there...scroll down for this weeks freebie!

  3. Gosh, it's a long time since I could stay up that late doing crafting or watching something. Enjoy whilst you are young enough. Steampunk eh? I hope we get to see the fruits of your labour, that is if you get around to making it.
Here's to a better year ahead than the one we have just had. Keep crafting, blogging and stay safe, happy and well.
    Hugs, Neet 13 xx

  4. I was awake at 3 the other morning thinking about a Powertex project I would love to do but don't have the space at present... should have got up and done it I think! Happy and healthy new year to you, take care and stay safe. Helen #5

  5. Broken biscuits are the best and don’t contain any calories whatsoever - it’s a scientific fact, lol!! ;-D. Glad that you are doing some crafting, the box is a great idea for storing all those papers.
    Happy New Year!

  6. The tin looks great Lyn, and it must be very satisfying to have used up bottles with bits of glue in them. The hours you don’t sleep seem scarey to me, I would not survive on so little sleep!

  7. Did you manage to get enough sleep when you eventually went to bed? Wishing you a happy and healthy new year Angela #14

  8. Oh gosh 4am, sounds like the time my son keeps! I usually wake early, I think we all time share this house LOL. Your crafting area looks fab, love all the containers and projects on the go.

  10. I've been waking up at crazy times these last few nights/days. I put it down to not having my alarm going off every morning. I'm out of my routine! Love the biscuit box, and what a trooper - eating all the biscuits to empty it so you could decorate it. The things we crafters have to do for our crafting! Have a lovely week and Happy New Year, hugs Heather xx #30

  11. I have seen quite a few of those 4am mornings and got up and crafted because I couldn't sleep! Sometimes I get more done at that hour! LOL Then, because I work fulltime, I get sleepy about mid day! Oh well, totally worth it! I love the covered tin idea! I always forget to do crafty things like that! I think that's called thinking outside the box, which I have a hard time doing! Must change in 2021! LOL Happy new year to you and stay safe! Felicia #31

  12. It goes without saying that the biscuits needed eating quickly then the calories don't have time to do anything naughty! and the box looks great and very useful too. Hoping for a better New Year. Sending woyww hugs, Angela x17x

  13. I love the biscuit box and I totally agree - it is so much easier to have all the Christmas stuff in one place so you don't forget about bits and pieces scattered across the room. I am totally going to sort out my Xmas stuff this year - I am 1/2 way there, but I want to get the stamps and other oddball bits incorporated into the system as well. Thanks for the inspiration and
    Happy (almost) 2021!

  15. I need very little sleep to keep me ticking over so I hear you completely. I didn't notice the date thing but everyday rolls into one right now so it makes no difference at all apart from a leap into a New Year tomorrow, may it be a Happy & Healthy one for you and all those close. 16. Love eating broken biscuits because you don't know how many whole ones you would have eaten. Love the tin also. Wishing you a Happy New Year. ANi

  17. Well, I thought I was the only one to stay up to the not-so-wee small hours! I was still up at 4.30 this morning... My ME completely disrupts my sleep rhythm and I'm always wide awake at that time, and very sluggish when everybody is up bright and early for the new day! Not that it matters because it's just the 2 of us. Your room looks so lovely, and so well organised too. Well done with the biscuit tin project!

Happy belated WOYWW and happy New Year,

  21. So envious of your craft area - it is so interesting! Like all the empty glue bottles - I am alternating between a new on and one upside down at the moment. Nothing can be wasted!!
    Happy WOYWW!
    Stay safe and keep well!
Update on here in Victoria – after more than two months with no Covid cases we now have a handful again…
