It's time for some more Messy Quirkyness over on the Quirky Crafts Challenge Blog. This time Gemma has chosen the theme...
Mixed Media Mayhem
Right out of my comfort zone as I never quite know what to do for 'mixed media' although I did leave my craft room in 'mayhem!'
I used this lovely Shih Tsu digi from our sponsors Squigglefly and sprayed all the papers you see and some pearl card with Cosmic Shimmer Mist, in pinks and blues, mainly because it's not too messy ( I use an old shoe box) and the owners of the little mummy Shhih Tsu doesn't know how many puppies she'll have or if they'll be boys or girls yet!
Last time one of her little doggies had six adorable puppies~ and that's also the name of the font I used. Adorable! This time it's one of those puppies having puppies! On the front of the card I added some doggy brads, doggy paws, using a punch. The sentiment printed was printed on a curve, using the computer. Inside. I've fixed more sprayed paper and five little pictures of the little Shih Tsu (carefull how you say that!) layered on black card.
There is a little bit of embossing too, but that's very hard to see. I haven't coloured the little dog at all, just left her as she comes, although I did think to coloured the collar, different colours and might do that when I know what she has! I know they'll all be mad as hatters... walking six to seven Shih Tsu's is no easy task!! They don't stop barking and evryone gets out of the way!!
Bit of a short post as I'm not feeling very well at the moment but will be back on track as soon as poss!! Thank you for stopping by!
