Happy Sunday everyone! It's time for a Quirky Crafts Challenge Reminder. The current Challenge, Eyes Wide Open has another week to run, so get over there and join in!
Here's my make. I've used Fairy Fae
from our Sponsors, Stitchy Bear, this time. I haven't coloured her too much, just used three ProMarkers, Cyan, Gold and Poppy. I've added Butterflies, gems, pearls, and lots of Stickles Glitter to make her sparkle.
The papers I've used are from a 6x6 pack by Forever Friends, called 'For You.'
The
font is called P22 Bramble Wild. Some sites
have removed it because of copywrite (maybe they weren't allowed to
download it.) Google the name and you may find a free download somewhere.
The little flower Ive added in the corner was on a 'Just For You' tag I was sent years ago (never throw anything away!) so thought I'd recycyle it. The flower goes well with her hair.
That's it I think. As soon as I'm home, I'd like toadd this to a few...

ReplyDeleteHow pretty Lyn, I love the way you have coloured Fairy Fae so lightly and the butterfly embellishment perfectly reflects the butterflies in your image. This is a lovely birthday card. Good luck in our challenge this week. Ingrid xx ( OSAAT Team )

So pretty, Lyn! I love this - the butterflies really pop. I have those 3-D butterfly stickers in my stash and they are so nice that I hate to use them - because then I won't have them to use any more - it doesn't make any sense that I do this! Note to self: Use your stash!!!!
ReplyDeletePretty card! I love how you colored her eyes blue and used just a few bits of color; makes it really stand out! Love the blue butterflies also! Great card! :)
