Just To Quirky Well Remind You to...Move it! And A Blue Freebie

Aarrrgghhh! I didn't forget, I just wasn't here!  I really do need another 24 hours in each day! The Quirky Reminder about our 'Move it!' is already up over on the Quirky blog now!  I did my card in a bit of a rushhhh! I had it in my head and once again, it doesn't look anything like how I imagined it!
Well here's my monstrous card! I used the same monster/alien as I did last week, but with a different sentiment, all from our sponsors, The Cutting Cafe, and roughly the same idea, but not quite. This time when you spin the alien, he gets more cakes!  Wouldn't that be great if it were true! I haven't got a cutting machine or any dies big enough to cut the circle, so it's a bit wobbly! (But we won't mention that!)
I had a 'play' in PaintNet this time. First added the blue background, which I just picked from the colour pallet, which I've added to the bottom of this post if you fancy a plain colour.  Then played with the circled sentiment , changed it to a PNG and added that over the colour, then did the same to the little monster and added him in the middle and then...added the cakes. Printed it all out twice, stuck one to a card and then cut the other one up The circle topper is fixed to some card, cut out badly by me... fixed to another circle to hide the brad. The cakes are all glued onto circles of acetate and fixed to the hidden circle. If you can understand that then you're cleverer than me! Thank you for stopping by!

  3. A great idea for a fun card Spyder - how to have all the cake you can eat without adding inches to the hips. The instructions you wrote, coupled with all your photographs are crystal clear and I enjoyed them very much. Mind you, at my first reading I nearly had a heart attack when you stated you 'cut up' the second copy of all that hard work :-) It took me a few moments to register that you cut out the various elements :-) Good luck in our challenge this week.
