I'm a bit late, I forgot to press publish!(But that's because I hadn't quite finished the card!) Never mind, I'm sure no one noticed!
Here's my DT card for this reminder week, for our Quirky Craft's Challenge, which started last weekend, 'It's a Small World.' That means, you still have a week to have a go, so come and join in! Pop over anyway to see what the other members of the team have come up with.
I've used Fantastic Sophia from one of our sponsors, Paper Pretties. We're also sponsored by Samaflora
This card is actually inside out, or outside in... Anyway it started off as a normal card but when I'd finished playing with the topper, it was a little too big and covered all that lovely DoveCraft's paper and the cerise pink ribbon, so I decided to cut half the back off, and fold it round to the front and then fix Sophia slightly to one side.

All the cerise (It's magenta!) red you can see is my very first Promarker, yes, my very first one I bought about nine years ago, (!!!!) and it's only just run out! I wish they lasted that long theses days!
Little Sophia has been 3D-ed. I started with all of her at first, then cut off her head, feet, a bit of neck and a loop of ribbon and then ended up just using her sleeve. I like the way the fan looks like she is holding it away from her face. I've used the gel glue with the syringe to fix her all together. (The blue tac over the end of the syringe is to help stop it drying out)
I think the punched out sign means 'Happiness' but I might be wrong! I added a circle of black card behind it before I stuck it down, so it would show up. There's no makers name on the punch, but I think it came from Woodware.' I've used the Dovecraft papers to cover the whole card even the back, otherwise the ribbon ends would show. I've added cerise or magenta pink ribbon, brads, and peel-offs.
The Font I've used is a freebie. It's called Chinaone, and you can download it HERE
I think that's it! Been a very long day, didn't get to bed til 5.30
this morning (then up at 7) and it's now 1.30 Monday morning! (yawn!) have to
be up early to take some lovely dogs for a walk! So I'll leave adding
any challenges til later! Thank you for stopping by!!

Fantastic Sopie is the perfect image for this fantastic card Spyder. The colours are so dramatic and 'Eastern' and your paper is beautiful. I love that you have used the symbol for Happiness as Sophie looks very happy. Every which way I look at this card it's just gorgeous - even the back. Good luck in our challenge this week.
