Happy 1st of August!! All ready? Where did the year go??? Happy WOYWW I'm waving to you from somewhere else this week as we are on our way to Scotland to scatter Alistair where he loved fishing as a boy (and probably still does)
This is what was/is on my worktop Tuesday /Wednesday, and the rest of the week, until we come home. It's the making of the card I made yesterday... everything that could go wrong, did! I have no idea how that bottle of PVA glue got there, I never use that on cards, well, they go 'bendy' don't they...
No new freebie 'here' this week, sorry. But I'll email you last weeks when I get back if you still want it! Hunt the hidden freebies are still there, if you find them you can download them straight away. I have added some freebie stripy papers though, I made them for yesterdays card, they might come in handy, but better still, why not make your own! Easy! I'll call round if I can, as we do have John's little laptop and his dongle. Although, remember? We played with his dongle in a field last time, I whisper this, came home to find I had no blog and no email! It was believed spies in the skies had invaded me! Of course they hadn't...this time I'm more likely to be molested by a sheep! Anyway!! Do you have some lovely craftymess on your Worktop you'd like to share? Why not stamp on over to The Stamping Ground and join in! You'll meet some very interesting crafters over there!

August already! Shocking! In our business we are already preparing for Christmas! I can't believe how FASSST the months are zipping by! I think it has something to do with age! My son thinks time is so slowww. Well, hope the spies in the skies don't find their way to me! Patsy from

Busy desk, Lyn, and we all have projects where everything goes wrong... Really tedious isn't it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your lovely comment. Glad you enjoyed my recycled projects. I have recently discovered Jennibellie online (google her!) - she takes recycling to new heights and her art is amazing!
Happy WOYWW,

Lovely crafty desk Lyn, love those cute little images.
ReplyDeleteThere's always going to be times when things go wrong but just smile.
Cheers,

Just one stray bottle of PVA glue ... my desk is often the drop off point for numerous items that no one knows anything about.
ReplyDeleteSandra @36
Loadsa lovely things on your desk - and I see you have those Ikea pots like I have - great aren't they?
ReplyDeleteHope Scotland is not as wet as here in the NW of England or you will be up to your knees in mud in those fields with the sheepsies.
Thanks for sharing - Hugs, neet xx #27
I can't believe it's August either. Hope your trip to Scotland is good, it will be emotional for sure! Hugs, Helen, 24

Oh my I do hope the sheep will be alright, that is a wee bit of a worry. LOL
ReplyDeleteI know it isn't a fun trip but please try and have a good time.
Eliza #16 again.
You be careful that the dongle doesn't get kidnapped by marauding wild haggis - they're devils, you know!! How lovely taking Alistair back to where he loved - I did that with my mum a few weeks back, sad..but a good thing to do.
ReplyDeleteHugs, LLJ #1 xx
I have asked Niall to cremate Me ( after I am dead) and Bring my Ashes back from France and scatter them at Black Rocks ( overlooks cromford matlock bath and matlock)
ReplyDeleteI suspect he will say yes and perhaps one day get round to it...
my spirit will always be there, ( I've told my boys they can always talk to me there and I will hear - they think I am mad but I know one day they might need it...)
hope you have a lovely reflective time that brings you peace.

Thank you so much for this post. I want to let you know that I posted a link to your blog in CBH Digital Scrapbooking Freebies (please, notice the new url for my blog), under the Page 5 post on Aug. 01, 2012. Thanks again.
ReplyDeletePlaying with someone's dongle in a field? Didn't know it was that kind of blog.
ReplyDeleteI'm off for a lie down I have a touch of the vapours
Jakix #112
That is a lot of stamped images to color :)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a fun, relaxing vacation!
Such a cute image of the sheep... I hope all goes well today.. Have a happy week, Hugs May x x x#12
ReplyDeleteIt's as amazing how things find their way to my desk almost as much as how things walk away from their designated spots too! But then that prompts a cleaning, so not all bad...and if it finds it's way to my desk, then legally it's mine right? waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
ReplyDeleteCute sheep you have there. A busy, busy desk as always. Hope you have a safe trip. Anne x
ReplyDeleteHope things go fine Lyn - still worrying about that dongle though.
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW, Di x #11
I don't know if I'd trust the sheep with my computer and internet connection. One never knows what sheep are up to. They'll be downloading Shaun the Sheep episodes or worse. I'm not a fan of PVA myself, but I'm more curious about the hammer on the desk. That must have been an interesting project. Or possibly an eyelet.
ReplyDeleteI hope the midges stay away from you and your dongle Pet!! Say Hi to Scotland for me and safe journey home. xx
ReplyDeleteHi Spyder thanks for popping by to visit - have a safe trip. Hope you find Alistair the perfect spot. Thinking of you. Hugs Helen x
ReplyDeleteThank you for the welcome to WOYWW! I see you have a lovely messy desk - the sign of a creative mind!
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome to come to play anytime....I mean that too!
ReplyDeleteHave a great time in Scotland.
Love JoZarty x
