I was trying to kill two stones will one bird with this card thinking it would fit the Recipe Challenge, that started yesterday... and The Sunday Stella Says Sketch Challenge, which is about to or has already started over on Catch The Bug, but it doesn't, so...!
Here's my GDT card for the sketch, I've used a square card, so changed the backing papers to square as well. I've used Stella Sew Thread. Coloured her with two of my newest Promarkers, Cocktail Pink and Soft Green. (plus Cool Grey 1 and Pastel Blue for shading) Here's the sketch... nice and easy... Stella waving her banner looking grumpy as ever! (you don't have to use a Stella, go get this weeks bugaboo freebie, and use that, it's too cute!)
As always, I've done a bit of 3D-ing, I cut off all the fiddly bits and then cut off her legs too, but after I'd die-cutted her, she'd lost a bit of her shoe, so decided to stick her legs back on again! (A Girl's gotta have her shoes!)
I did the sentiment on the computer. Had a few other ideas of what to say, but decided this was the safest one.
All the papers are by PinkPetticoat. (Still using up all my 'bits') The ribbon, buttons and green and pink card are all from my stash. (Yes I used real card this time!) Most likely will send this to my daughter over in the USA. It's her birthday next month.
The font is a Freebie. It's called Poornut. You can download it HERE or just Google the name.
That's it, I'm not here. Hopefully the timer should work! (fingers crossed)
Some time this evening The next Quirky Craft's Challenge should come up on timer, actually the whole of today's on timer, as we're all going up to Emma's (daughter) for Sunday lunch ...which will probably be closer to dinner time tomorrow! (depending on when you're reading this!) Happy Crafting! Happy Bank Holiday to every one this side of the pond.... Bet it's raining! Thank you for stopping by, back later to add a few...

Hi Lyn I hope you are ok, I love this fun card. I've not had time recently for much crafting but I hope that once we get to September and Ruth goes to start her new job I will have a bit more time. I seem to have done more crochet and sewing over the summer as I can sit downstairs and do that so spending more time with Ruth while she has been at home
