Yay! I'm here at last!! I know, it says Sunday but to me it's Monday! Where have I been?? The list is too long... I'll add it to another post! Agghhh! Look at my stats! It just goes to show, no freebies, no visitors!! Oh My!! Well, I lost (mislaid) my reading glasses over the weekend, stilll can't find them, can't see much without them, so please EXCUse mistakes in post!! (using glasses from pound shop!) It's the Quirky Craft's new Challenge time again. It's Diane's turn to set the theme and she has decided on...
School's Out For Summer!
She wants to see children having fun. So I decided to use a bear... well, why not, bears have fun too!!! So, any project that shows or involves children (or bears, or animals) having fun! Easy!!
Our sponsor this challenge is Robyns Fetish and they are offering 5 Digital Images to the winner! So, off you go and create!!
Here's my card, as I said above, I decided not to use a boy or girl for this challenge, but this cute little Carl bear! You'll find him in our sponsors store here!
I've used 6x6 Serif 'Picnic In The Park' paper stack (freebies with a crafty magazine) and We R Memory Keepers, Travel light, as they have other activities going on, mainly travel and picnics! (Freebie stack from Simply Cards & Papercraft)
The paperclip is there to add a bit of interest...(tell the truth) ok...to hide a bit of smudged ink (but it did come in handy to hold the note in place) and inside the card... the apple under the sentiment hides a very large thumb print!
I did a bit of ripping, coloured with Promarkers, dotted the bear's eyes black, also did a bit of 3D-ing and added my own doodle back ground, then added the extra ball to the bear's paw rather than over the other ball, using a 3D foam pad.
All the edges have been inked in green. Inside, there's room for some holiday or birthday money!
Both Fonts are freebies. Front font is called Cutie Pop, download it free HERE. Inside font is called Apple Boy BTN Outline, which I've coloured with a red Poppy Promarker. Download free HERE. (some sites do charge)
Have some challenges to add, but I must zoom off again, catch you later!!
