I bet a hundred jelly babies your desk is a trillion times tidier than mine! Busy week, not sure what I've been doing or being busy with but I was very busy! Too many hospital trips for one! Here's my WOYWW desk...yep, it's a mess. Picture taken a few hours ago, (One/two in the morning?) cold tea, a bottle of strawberry Yop and I was hoping that quilted bit of paper would've turned into a card by now!! It's my Mum's Birthday to day! Happy Birthday Mum!
There's a few WOYWW ATC's left, if anyone would like one! I made quite a few in the end, sent some off, but sorry to those in USA, I forgot we had no post this week coz of Queenie celebrations! yay!! ! (Or was that just our Mrs Moanie Post Office lady?)

Wow! Super busy desk there!!! A BIG happy Birthday to your Mum. Have just about finished your ATC so will be getting it in the post either today or tomorrow, as you say there hasn't been any post for days so it wouldn't have got anywhere if I'd managed to do it any sooner! You asked about the red handled sizzix thing on my previous desk shot, it's a Sizzix paddle punch... you use a little hammer with it to punch. I hardly ever use them (another waste of money!!) but it just so happened the circle one was the perfect size for the little cut outs in the boxes :o) x April #79

Okay, I take it back. My desk is NOT messy, not compared to yours for sure! That's kind of crazy. I noticed some things got shuffled around there so there must be some creativity going on there, even if it is just an archeology dig. And I hate that when you leave card pieces on your desk and they don't assemble themselves into something nice whilst you are away. Darn, those quilled pieces anyway!

I hope your Mum had a wonderful day...with or without a self assembly quilted card! I saw it. I love that you are keeping up appearances with me for untidy desks, its very important! Except I think I must have a touch of vertigo or some such..your overhead shots have made me dizzy!!

Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog. Glad you like my coloured zentangles! As for the card, I got it at our local copy shop. You can probably see the brand on the zentangle equipment photo. Not sure what gsm it is - can't remember, and I don't think it says on the packet. It's hopeless card for folding (as in pop-ups) and it is rubbish for cutting with Sheba (Black Cat Cougar machine) and I was beginning to regret buying it, but for drawing it's brilliant. It doesn't stand too much water, though, so I have to go a bit carefully when blending the Inktense pencils or the surface starts to rough up. I wouldn't want to do sloppy colour washes on it - watercolour paper would be better for that.
