Here's a few Christmas cards I made for a small order. The lady had seen a Red & white /Penny Black card I'd made ages ago and wanted them to be near enough the same.
It did take me a little while to find the same backing paper, and even then, it wasn't quite the same, but I don't think she noticed! Also BIG thank you to Brenda over on Butlersabroad who very kindly stamped me out some more of these images, (we did a across the 'pond' stamp swap! Michigan to The New Forest!!) as I don't have this stamp...yet!)
The trouble I had was the original paper was Forever friends "Gift Wrapped" Double-sided A4 Card stock, 240gsm, which my Martha lace punch did cut through when it was new, trouble is, it won't now! What I ended up finding was Forever Friends "Santa's on his way" A4 paper pack, 160gsm and as luck would have it, PaperCraft Inspiration Magazine had a free Forever Friends "Every Occasion"Decoupage Card Kit this month, so one way or another I did find enough of the same paper to get the cards done!
And here they are...

They are virtually the same as a card I've blogged before. They all have loads of Stickles Glitter, one has mirco fine glitter added to make it look as though the 'snow' is glistening, which is a really nice effect and one I'll use again. (I used a quickie Glue pen to adhere it and it saves using glittered card)
That particular card also has a red scallop and holly fringe across the top, (punched from the 240gsm card stock) and you'll be pleased to know, was cut using a Xcut punch, less than a quarter of the price of the Martha Stewart!

The sentiments all were done on the computer. I used a freebie font called AdineKirnberg-s and you can down load it HERE
It's very small, so you have to have the font size at about 28 rather than your normal 12/14. and yes...I did run out of the rd dotty ribbon, which is why there's a red bow over the image instead...
oh, and the red Christmas table cloth? came from Tesco's quite a while ago...
