I just thought I'd pop this Valentine's Card in because I wanted to use these lovely images from
They are sponsoring The QuirkyCrafts Challenge's this month and because I was having a bit of a tif with my lap top, I couldn't use any of the didgi downloads that were sent to me, because it refused point blank to open the file!
I promised it a dust, an afternoon in the garden (bbrrr too cold!!) and even a ride in the car, but no. 'Can't open, won't open', so that was that, and I made my easel card instead ...but, earlier this morning I received another file from one of our lovely DT members, but still it would not open! So I decided to play a little trick on my laptop, and emailed the file to hubby's laptop, which is a bit smarter and not so cranky. Minutes later he emailed it back. Simples!!
I have in fact used three of the images from The Cutting Cafe' on this card. I had a play in 'Word' and popped the two love birds inside the ring of words, (well, I thought I was clever!) and then printed them all out onto Pink Petticoat tiny hearts paper. I coloured the Lovebirds in with a pink ProMarker. Not sure about the eyelash wool but I might add a bit of glitter later...what do you think? Yes? Ok, I'll put some on the flowers.
Well, blogger's being a pain tonight and won't let me load any of my pictures, (Hmm, been talking to my laptop!) so.... I'll pop back in the morning... oh and thank you to all of you who have so far entered The First (Blogland) QuirtyCrafts Challenge! Fabulous displays of yumminess!! I can't wait to see more!!! Back later!
