Don't you think he's cute!?! He was a download from The Tinker and Co Shop. In the set there's twelve papers, three sets of bears and a page of 'ribbons'. So I decided to make another one of my favourite shaker cards. (Nooo! We'd never guess!) This time I've used not only beads but tiny stars, tiny hearts and splinters of gold (not real gold!) inside the shaker window. I've printed the bear and all the background papers on the satin brochure paper I've mentioned once or twice, (five times) before! (Links no longer apply)
This last picture was taken before the flower was put on...who can spot was else is missing?
I'd just like to say "Hi" to a New Follower PinkLilacs who at the moment has some yummy blog candy! (It's on my side bar!) pop over and have a look! Right, I'm off, back to watching the end of Harry Potter. I've had the DVD on, got fed up with the adverts on the telly, so there's about half an hour to go on the T.V. I still find myself moaning about all the bits they miss out or change! Dobby was meant to give Harry the Gillyweed!! And weren't they supposed to meet up with Lockhart again in the hospital? Moody also had an invisibility cloak in the book. Credit must go to the maze. I think that was better in the film, everything in the book was missed out. It must be really hard making a film. I'd never know what bits to miss out! I'd probably make it go on and on and on.......and on....and on...night night!
Later I added, Happy Birthday Dad and inside, lots of bear hugs from me and him
What else was missing? A little bird in the top left hand corner.

The insert I printed on ordinary paper and made the bear a lot smaller! The bear on the front has been decoupaged (using the brochure paper) I kept changing my mind about what I was going to put next to him. First it was a sentiment, then I changed it to a flower. I dabbed a dollop of PVA glue in the centre of the flower then pured on the same gold beads. The acetate was cut from the box lid of a Forever Friends decoupage set (I throw nothing away!) The 'lace' is self adhesive paper lace. Now then, there's a challenge, which I hope I'm not too late for~over on Rainbow Lady's Challenge Blog This week you have to use acetate on your card, so I hope this counts!!This last picture was taken before the flower was put on...who can spot was else is missing?

This is just so cute, you're right :D And I'm listening the HP audio book (Deathly Hallows atm, but I have the full set), lol, so as well as the films missing out bits of the book, I always feel slightly ripped off that the whole thing isn't narrated by Stephen Fry. ;)
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL Lyn.
ReplyDeleteHugs Riet.x
