It's Monday and just lately on a Monday, I've been putting a picture of the blog Candy already to go off, but (there's always a but!) my camera's been doing really silly things, like, only taking white pictures. It's like there's an invisible ghost, which suddenly leaps in front of the camera just as you take the picture! Resulting in total white-out! John played with it last night for a while (shook it, poked it) but what can you do? I did spill some embossing power but this happened waaay before the camera went sick.
Anyway...it now works, sort of, but...wait for this...it now barks! Yes, I'm not kidding!! When you take a picture, it barks!! "Arf Arf!"
So...this is the blog candy ("Arf! Arf!") before I make it look pretty ("Arf Arf!") and put it into bags...
Is that my craft room, you're thinking? A nice long bench in my craft room? A really untidy long bench in my craft room?? No. You'd be wrong if you thought that...This is the living room....yes...and that's my ironing board...I would say, all will be back to normal tomorrow, but, this is normal!!
I really wanted to pop in and say hi ((Wave)) to two new lovely followers before they decided they'd made a terrible mistake in picking a really weird blog and choose to unfollow!! Welcome to Julia who has a fantastic blog called On Top of The Scrap Heap (I know how that feels!) and as well as some lovely cards she has some fantastic scrapbook layouts AND is also on the design team at Quirky Crafts! (All the best people are, of course!) Then we have Fiona with the lovely challenge blog Inchy By Inch, which does exactly what it says on the label! Loads of lovely Inchies, marvelous mini works of art for you all to go and have a peep at! I did have a go at one of the last Challenges, stitching but I think the blood might have put some people off! I'm really a hopeless sewer. (Is that a word? Sewer...?){That's a septic tank Lyn, you mean embroider}Ah yes, so I do...what would we do without those little voices that suddenly come to us as we're driving home or in the middle of the night five days later and tell us we've made a big boo boo...)
One more thing before I go (The men in white coats are knocking at the door) I forgot to mention yesterday about the Free font on Cheryl's Card...I know you're dying to know what it is...(actually, we'd forgotten all about it...) it's called chick and you can download it HERE and HERE I like the little flowers it uses for dots! This was written in WordArt on my computer, so I could type it in two colours. That's all for now...back tomorrow...weather permitting...whether they let me out or not!

ReplyDeleteIt's not a ghost in front of your camera, it's a man in a white coat trying to catch you out. The flash bounced off his glasses and confused him, and now he's trapped inside your camera, barking to be let out :P
ReplyDeleteawe Lyn Bless... hope you get your camera sorted soon.xx
