I took a piece of bronze coloured card and scored it as a tri-fold, but fixed down the back to make a pocket. I only just decided to do that so the tag inside isn't finished yet as I'm not sure what I'm going to put on it, probably something like, 'The bearer of this ticket gets to eat birthday cake' with some birthday money tucked inside somewhere. Lots of mock stitching in white gel pen and brown Staedtler triplu
s fine-liner. My last Sunday's card had stitching, and that was leather look brown. I like the two together, specially for male cards. I've added those candi dots in brown and a key-hole (Woodware brad) they also come with keys. The button spanner come with other tools. I've cut off the button bits on the back and fixed it on with silicone glue.
I'll add 'up-date' pictures of the tag later, and will put more things inside the card once I know who's going to receive it. It does look a bit plain... maybe another digi. Yes, I've added Dustin's Birthday cake, you'll find it here!
Hey it's Tom's birthday next Friday! (son-in-law) I'm actually looking for an archer. I might have to draw one. Tom's really into his bows and arrows! That's it for now! Thank you for stopping by!
The inky looking paper on the top fold was a freebie years ago. It came from ScrapGirls, always worth a visit! They have a new look to their site.
The link leads to their freebies.
The brown gingham paper is also a freebie from Activity Village (link also on my side bar) the font is a freebie Pea Johanna Script. I've already linked it before, it's on my side bar too but you can download it HERE.I'll add 'up-date' pictures of the tag later, and will put more things inside the card once I know who's going to receive it.
