I was going to be clever and do before and another pictures. A messy desk and then a tidy desk, just to prove I can, but the camera's batteries went flat, hopefully by the time I've finished this post they'll be fully charged again (I'm a slow typist!)
These pictures were taken Tuesday about four in the afternoon.
Looking through the window you can see the beech hedge I've just been cutting (or attacking with the hedge cutters more like!)
On the bench this week are...two little houses...
I found one a couple of weeks ago (in my craft room swap round) and I found the other one today.. I made a few different houses/barns some time ago. I made a model of the house in my 'Never Ending Story' too (Not sure where that house is now)
I first made a clay model, covered it in rubbery stuff to make a mould and then filled that with resin stuff I think, and painted them with this Acrylic paint that came in little pots. Finished with a matt vanish.
1993 is scribbled on their bottoms (underneath...they don't really have bottoms) They make good paperweights!
Here's the floor... Sorry the picture's a bit blurry and that's not because I'm a secret drinker... the Pimms boxes are going to be cut down to hold my craft magazines.
Now it's nearly ten hours later..... and yay!! The batteries are charged and my bench is tidy! (Sort of)
So? What's on your desk this Wednesday Morning? Crunchy Nut Cornflakes? Cold cups of tea? Or something more sinister?!?
Just hop over to Julia's Stamping Ground and join in!
It's now two in the morning...at last my crafty space is as tidy as it's going to be... I've finished the freebie it's all on timer...
So it's good night from me.... and it's good night from Ted... ZzzzZzzz

Hi Lyn,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the freebie. Can you come tidy my desk next? I never get to see the bottom of the desk and my work space is getting smaller and smaller. Oh well, thanks again.
Lawren
great space there and lots to see - lots of fab storage too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing today,

Wow--want to come and clean mine---it is full of everything! Yours is nice and tidy! Thank you for the image!
ReplyDeleteBatteries on my camera area always running out. I'm also convinced that my son is battery powered, especially as I found at least 15 dead batteries in his room this weekend when I tidied up.
ReplyDeleteANTS are in my craft room today. Freakin' me out. The bug man is here. There's a colony that has moved in under our house and they were not invited. I hope the $125 I am paying will rid us of them.
ReplyDeletePhew!! didn't you do well... lots of super stash here to drool over... have a good week

Well it looked really tidy to start with Lyn, but you've certainly been a busy bee and what's all this about 2am, I think that's going above and beyond in the call of tidiness!!

TY for the houses...If you find the other one, can we have it? LOL ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm in the middle of swapping my sewing room for my craft room, so I think I have you beat on the mess. But oh how fun it will be when it is all put away! I bet that's how you feel too. I can't wait to find all my things that have been "lost" in my room for so long, LOL tfs Tami
