Hi guys! Sorry for no blogging for ages, so busy and I'm never in these days! Last weeks freebie never got done so I promise two new freebies this week! Now it's time for the next Quirky Crafts Challenge and sorry for forgetting to put this on timer, because it's my turn to choose the theme.. and I've chosen...
Make Us Laugh!!!
We're sponsored by Crackerbox Castle who make super-dooper rubber and clear stamps.
The team have had a fabulous variety to play with so don't forget to call into Quirky Crafts and have a look at what everyone's been up too! We have so many different ideas and inspiration with our design team and guests, spreading all over the planet!
Here's my card. Yes, it's a lion on a halloween card... well once I decided to add the sentiment, it all came together very quickly! (actually, that's a bit of a fib!)His name is Friendly Lion
I've used Pink Petticoat papers on the outside, layered with black card. The tag was cut with a die cut free with Paper Craft Essentials this month and inked with TH's Distressed ink.
The lion has been 3D-ed (he has two heads and two tops to his tail. I fussy snipped his mane and of course coloured him with Promarkers. if you look closely you'll see his nose is dusted with black micro glitter to make it sparkle. I've also added Stickles Glitter-glue, a few punched out cats...I couldn't find my cat punch but found some black card where I'd already punched some out and just re-punched them with a small circle and added more PP lilac paper behind to show up the cats. I've also added a fish bone and some sequin pumpkins and a spider. The skull is from a scrap of Pink Petticoat backing paper. (The idea was...he's eaten whoever it was!) Happy Halloween is a scrap of ribbon folded over to make the second sentiment.
The inside papers were freebies and the eyelash wool is from my stash.

what an absolutely great image - just looking at the satisfied expression on the lion as he licks his chops is priceless.( almost as your family's faces would have been on realizing that you were having them for dinner) I love how you have used that aspect of your image to show us the Halloween feast that he'd just enjoyed Lyn. Your sentiment is such fun and I will tell you quite honestly that I'm cracking up at this brilliant Halloween card (but cracking up very respectfully) You have but so much thought into creating this card and I do love it. Good luck in our challenge this week. Ingrid xx (OSAAT Team)
