Morning!! It's Wednesday again!! So, W.O.Y.W.W? On my ~very tidy for me~desk is a poem I found written by one of my daughters when she was at school, about a bull, complete with little drawing of a bull, a couple of last weeks cards, some ATC's, one of which should be going somewhere as soon as I can remember where and bits left over from the card that's sitting on the 'photo box'. That's it! Nice and short! (Where's Lyn and what have you done with her?) Not showing you the other side of the room though! Off to blog hop! You can join in too. Just hop over to Julia's Stamping Ground!!
Sorrr-ry, I can't seem to comment on Google+ blogs...not unless I join Google+ I thought Blogland was already Google. Happy Crafting! Thank you for stopping by!
UPDATE** and a warning to others Earlier this morning I tried to comment on a Google + blog and noticed I could via Face Book, the next second I'm being locked out of everything because they say I'm not me and am trying to enter my face book account via another computer in another country/place where I've never accessed it before. This is of course CRAP! I'm sitting at my own computer in my craft room as always!
They are now showing me photo's of 'friends' who I have to identify. They have shown me pictures of Tom, my son in law... and then pictures of blogger friends and family who I never go in and look at so I have no idea who they are!! So therefore they say, I'm not me!! Just to warn others, if they show pictures of people you can't name they won't let you in. If they show pictures of people who are not on Facebook there will be no link to click so they will not let you in.(unless you know whose picture album it comes from)

I think we've all done that created something just wondering where it is to go after lol
ReplyDeletebut they are cute little ATC's :) hugs Nikki No # yet
Oh wow! I spy all kinds of craftiwork on your desk! Some pretty cards, and that bull drawing looks so cute! It's so cool to see a room with a desk that gets lots of crafting use. I actually made a card this past week (it's been forever), and it has one of your images. I entered it into a challenge at The Outlawz. . I'll have to email it to you. :) It got some lovely comments!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed spying at your desk! You are so creative! So happy that you share your gift with us! Hope you have a wonderful and fun week!
G+ is a pain. I set it up by accident a few months back and no, if you are not a member then you can't comment. I went back to old blogger and run G+ in the background...complicated... Love your desk. #43
ReplyDeleteI love all that colour about your desk.I'd love to sit there and play!
ReplyDeleteJudy #32
What a cute little bull! I love your rows of colourful 'buckets', but i don't think I could reach even the lower row. I wonder what you are going to do in all that green space now? have a great week. Kate x #56
ReplyDeleteHmmm a clear space on your desk? You're obviously coming down with something....I really hope you feel better soon :-) I can't leave comments on google+ blogs either....annoying eh?
ReplyDeleteHugs,

Happy WOYWW
ReplyDeleteOh I love your Desk, so productive looking!!

What a great desk - it's like one of those games where you have to spot stuff like 3 nails and an Egyptian Mummy - only far more beautiful and arty - obviously. Have a fun week MMx #65
ReplyDeleteOooh a clear space - you've got to fill that up soon with your creative talents! Happy WOYWW! ♥ Karen ♥ 79 x
ReplyDeleteYour desk doesnt look so bad today, Im sorry to hear that youve not been feeling to well, hope you soon better. Thanks for the image by the way, hes gorgeous. hugs Shirleyxxxxx
ReplyDeleteGoogle+ is such a mystery! I really don't understand what's going on there, but then I am a bit of techno-innocent! I love your desk - lots of great stuff and I love it when I find little drawings and poems the kids did! Have a great WOYWW! Julie Ann xx #41
ReplyDeletelove your desk, and thank you for that warning. Often if I cant work out 'how' I just dont comment, and do very little via facebook thankfully.
ReplyDeleteLynda #82
Those are some very pretty ATCs. Love the fresh colors. Your desk always makes me happy! I can also just see a hint of a card with a little flower on it. So cute!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW. xx

Oh computers can be such a pain when they are not doing what you tell them to do and they go off with the gremlins.. Hmm if I have trouble with commenting I just leave it. Love the elephants on your desk on the ATC's they are just so cute.

A hive of activity, Lyn, on a very pretty and busy desk. Lots of lovely colours and beautiful cards and things.
ReplyDeleteI find it a bit worrying how much of the Internet Google is taking over. I get fed up with clicking on people's blog links and ending up with Google+ and not being able to find their blog. It's a pain. Also, when Google locked me out a while back, loads of my online presence disappeared, including Youtube. I think these things should all be independent...
Happy WOYWW,
Shoshi
Sometimes commenting is just too much hassle for me. If it isn't easy I don't do it. I used to be on FB all the time and kept getting my e-mail compromised, so now I stay off it, or only go to down load pics of GKs, then make sure to log off. I don't do google+ or word press either.
ReplyDeleteKrisha #19
Oh gosh, I've noticed the google plus is not very friendly--as in, I can almost never figure out how to return blog visit or comment on someone who is a google plus person, which is very frustrating--but nothing compared to your experience, YIKES!!
ReplyDeleteWell, a happy woyww to you, anyway,
:)trisha

Hello, Im Roberta 106, Im on my 2nd week of this and looking at every ones goodies has really got me doing things..now I cant wait till mine looks nice and tidy. Thanks for letting me peek around. Bright Blessing to you and yours
ReplyDeleteNot bad on the tidy stakes and quite good on the creative stakes. Well done. Thanks for popping in on me. Re my wisteria you should see it on the other side ... the sunny side. My neighbour gets the bast of it and most of the flowers as it heads over to her.

WOW it seems that electronics are on my list of things this week too...I think Google has caused a lot of problems with their latest update again. I lost all my contacts when the Google Reader was taken away and THEY (whoever they are) signed me up for the Google+ account. I got your message though so I wonder just what I am signed up on!!! Oh well Happy WOYWW Lyn! As always challenged...Vickie #38
ReplyDeleteThere is space on your desk! I can see the crafting mat...what is going on? Is this really Lyn's desk?! Looking good though. Thanks for sharing. Happy WOYWW. Caro x (#112)
ReplyDeleteGoogle + is a cheat. I had to sign up to it and Gmail just to unsubscribe from a stream of ridiculous emails spams...and now of course, I can't unsubscribe. Hate it. So dont want to be part of ANOTHER network..and the trouble you've experienced is frankly ridiculous. Argh.
ReplyDeletei can't edit my comments so have to publish and then come back...bloody Google and ipad!! Anway, wanted to know what caused the excavation down to the green...serious stuff!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat desk Lyn. I have heard nothing but bad things about G+ and people who've had problems. I haven't signed up for it and won't, and can't work out how to comment on G+ sites at all, so don't. Have a good week. Helen, 6
ReplyDeleteLove those cards and ATCs. The bull is cute!! I can't comment on google+ either. Afraid I just come right out of it - not on facebook either, so can't go that way!! It means I feel technically inadequate, but just have to trust people will realize when they don't get too many comments... Trouble is, I really like to leave the comment when I visit! Oh well, can't be helped.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.

Your ATC's are just adorable, I love elephants and everything on your desk is so cheerful you can't help but smile. How wonderful to find your daughters poem and drawing..... Your FB issues sound like a pain in the you know where. Hope you get it sorted soon..Have a great week and Happy WOYWW! Danie #14
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit and comment, Lyn, and I know how envious you are of my new ARTHaven lol!! I can't wait to get in now... As for Blogger/Google, I couldn't agree more. I am happy to say that I have nothing to do with Facebook so haven't experienced those problems. They are always changing things, aren't they, and I've noticed that things get more complicated, not simpler, and you end up making more mouse clicks to achieve the same end. I do use Windows LiveWriter to compose all my blog posts and that at least cuts out the Blogger problems at that end, but my feeling is, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!!
ReplyDeleteShoshi #75
Happy WOYWW Lyn!
ReplyDeleteVery tidy, don't worry about the ATC - I walk into a room and can't remember what I went there for!
I know you are you that is the main thing!
We used to get the sparrowhawk killing in the garden, that would have been a great photo, or carrying birds off to the nest but since we moved the feeder to the border which is fenced to stop the dogs digging through next door's rotten fence to get to their noisy sausage dogs, we haven't seen the sparrowhawk in the garden.

That is a really really clean desk!!! ;o) So sorry to read that you are having FB issues... that really really sucks! Hope all gets better soon.

Oh, my. That happened to me once. I had to get my IT brother to fix everything for me. It was terrible as i was blocked out for a few days. He fixed it in a few minutes. I wish I could tell you what he did but I have no idea. Hope your day goes better. Edwina Brown
ReplyDeleteGreat desk, means your busy creating. I expect I'll find out about google+ I've just been asked to sign up...mmm I'll ask my IT son when he arrived today. Cheers RobynO#52
ReplyDeleteLove the desk shot, very tidy. I agree Google+ is a pest- I signed for it and so far it works without giving me problems, but it annoys me when I want to go to someones blog and it goes to their Google+page instead! Have a great week, Hugs Shaz #118 xx
ReplyDeleteI love that you found a poem by your daughter! Priceless! My nephew wrote one for me about my art, so I now have it framed in my room. It is so special. I don't understand Google + at all. I am on blogger which is Google, but the other one confuses me. Thanks for the heads up about the "not being you". I had that happen when I was on vacation, and I had so much trouble proving I was "Me". Ugh. Thanks for the visit today! Winnie#76
ReplyDeleteI spy some fab ATCs! Yea, google+ is a big pain in the A--. I have enough trouble leaving comments for peeps in the UK if they're not on blogger because I use the iPad which doesn't support flash player. :( have a fab weekend. Thanks for the earlier visit! Happy WOYWW! Nan G #8
ReplyDeleteI deliberately didn't do the google+ thing on my blog when they wanted me to upgrade my blogger account like that, glad I didn't and hope they don'r make it compulsory one day.
ReplyDeletereal pain what it's done to you on Facebook, I hope you can still access that now.
Lovely desk and so cool finding that poem
I'm right there with you on the Google + issue. I really, really, dislike it. I have stronger words but I better keep it G rated. Not only can those of us not on Google + comment when people enable Google + comments, but you also can't find them anymore unless they make their blog links public. I used to try and find people to thank them for a specific comment they may have left and would use the blogger profile page to do so but with Google + you can't see anything unless you are in their circle. Well, how are you supposed to be in their circle if they don't know who the heck you are? Argh! Also had the same problem with FB. I don't have my own page as it is another think I don't like. So if I have to like something or pick up an extra freebie through FB, I use my husband's account. Well, they locked us out and of course I couldn't identify anyone in the pics. It is such a ridiculous way to identify yourself.
ReplyDeleteAt least they didn't close down my blog and email as well this time, (last time they did!) I think I was commnetin on a blog that was also havng a moan about google+ so I thought I'd add my bit, no way to comment, but i could use Twitter or facebook, so clicked facebook...BOOM! that was it, no warning just, a pop up saying I was 'shut out' until I could prove who I was. Then they email the same computer that's caused the shut out...with links to 'what to do next', so, if my computer WAS a hacker, surely they are sending them/me even more ways of getting in. My fault, as I very rarely put in my name or password as my computer remembers and if it doesn't another click usually works...but not that time.
DeleteSorry you are going through that crap with Google+. I hate them and refuse to join because they have no privacy setting on your Google Picasa Albums and anyone can go in and view your photos any time! Not to mention you have to be in a person's "circle" in order to even get to their blog! It's so high school!
ReplyDeleteNow you reinforced my feelings by sharing this sheet about FB and what they are doing to you. It's outrageous! I hope you get it sorted out soon, Lyn. Thank you so much for coming to visit me on plain on Google gmail comments! Happy Belated WOYWW! Darnell #12
Google is a big pain in the b_ t, I am sure these things are sent to try us all. It does help when you know your way around systems but not all of us do unfortunately. I so love your desk so bright, cheery and creative and some really beautiful cards on there too.
ReplyDeleteBelated WOYWW greetings so sorry I am getting back to the desks late this week, working shifts sometimes is not good.
Hugs Eliza & Yoda 24
I bet you thought I forgot about you, but the truth is I'm playing catch up after having been offline for nearly three days due to internet woes associated with our recent rain. You really DO have a clean desk. And now you see why I don't join FB, twitter, and pinterest. Too many intertwined things and they can all go wrong.
ReplyDeleteHappy quite belated WOYWW from #2.
a bare spot oh my...something must be a miss...I have issues with google on almost a daily basis. Thanks for sharing. Sorry I am so late getting around this week but I am making it around finally! Hope you had a great weekend! Vickie #36
ReplyDeleteI can't ever comment on Google + blogs or indeed on ones that only allow you to comment if you sign in to Google (which I refuse to do) - sad, but I find most people are receptive if I email them (so long as the mail doesn't bounce!) to let them know I visited and liked what I saw. As my DH and DS say, every day, Google is evil....
ReplyDelete:)
And I had a poem DS write at 5 on the fridge forever. Lost it on one of our moves, but I hope one day I'll find it again. It was sweet and never failed to make me smile. All I recall is the line "flutterby butterfly...."
Happy (so late) WOYWW!
