As I'm not here, I'm sending you this via Hubby's dongle! (3G wireless Internet connection) I thought I'd show you a picture of where we went yesterday. If you look through the rigging to the harbour wall beyond, maybe you'll reconnized somewhere often seen on telly as a back drop to films. Not too good a picture but I think you can see the scene was obviously set for a new film! Some years ago, one very hot sunny day in August during Cowes week, we had a lovely trip sailing in this tall ship, close to the shores of the Isle of Wight... but that's nowhere near where we are now. ReplyDeleteCornwall? Is it Charlestown Harbour perchance? Lovely place - little museum there too. How's the dongle? :) Di xx
ReplyDeleteClever Clogs Di! Yes, Charlestown in Cornwall. The dongle was great, but unfortunately, Google thought some one from Russia or Saudi Arabia had hacked into my account and closed everything down! How do I tell them it was just me, in a field in Cornwall??
DeleteHubby says is it Poole, its not Bristol so Im dont know it looks interesting, I hope you have a wonderful time. hugs Shirleyxxxxx
ReplyDeleteFunnily enough Shirley the ships are registered in Bristol, so have been there I'm sure! And Poole is only a few miles from home but no....Di was right!!
ReplyDeleteYay - I won the Milky Bar! Pleased the blog is fine now - that'll teach you to play with dongles in fields Lyn! :) Di xx
