I was going to put all my Christmas papers in there, now I'm not so sure, if I put them away I will forget all about them (very small brain) The little two draw tin box used to be full of chocolates, someone gave it to me~ they thought I might find a use for it. (Could've left the chocolates in it!!) And on the other side.... what this weeks digi looked like before I tidied him up on the computer.
So this is my creativemess, let's see yours, I bet it's better! Scoot over to the Stamping Ground and join in, it's that's simple!! Thank you for stopping by!!

ReplyDeleteHi Lyn, I am first this week, missed you last week. just could not get in moving. Love the look of the freebie, really cute. Nothing boring about your desk... just looks busy. #105
ReplyDeleteDon;t think just by taking quirky photos it hides what's on your desk, it doesn't. Lots to see and it's obvious you will need many more boxes if you carry on collecting as much stash - have fun.

ReplyDeleteLove the idea of putting away all the 6 x 6 papers, mine go in a box and get forgotten! I have been known to buy a second one, having forgotten I bought the first! A very busy desk indeedy. Have fun. Anne # 9
ReplyDeletePS, thanks for your visit x
Oh I have to agree that the box would have more useful if the chocolates had been left in it! HA! I have to put all seasonal items away, you will get use to pulling them out and won't forget them! I love all your organization on the wall! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
ReplyDeleteWow, busy busy!
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday!

Lol - I am so proud of my clean room but an empty desk is so boring - bring on the clutter - plenty to snoop!! x Jo
ReplyDeleteLovely busy desk, Lyn, and I do love those papers! I really need to have a proper clear-out - I've made a start but tend to run out of energy before I've done much. Then before I can have another session I get more stuff! no hope, is there...
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW,
Shoshi #95
what a lovely desk fully of crafty stuff.
ReplyDeleteLooks like lots of folks are organizing this week, must be something in the air.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how excited I would be about a box of chocolates sans chocolate; but they do make good organizers.
Happy Woyww, :-)
Sandy #90
Well it certain looks creative and I love the overview shots.
ReplyDeleteKnow what you mean about the little brain stuff. I always forget the things I have, goes with the territory I think....

I would love to nose around your supplies....such eye candy for the crafter... #100
ReplyDeleteNo no, if you put the Christmas stuff away, you'llknow that you have because it happens every year and you'll need to get 'em out eventually. Put the other stuff away and that's where it will stay. I should know...I'm the queen of forgetting put away stuff! How did you get on at the Consultant about your cough gal? Did he patronise it out of you?!
ReplyDeleteI have put the elements and stickers away because they are definitely Christmas, but some for the papers are just not all Chrismasy...answer, I need two of everything!!
DeleteWell it took them 5 months... and I'm still coughing, the doc said had pneumonia, the second xray shows its getting getting better, had a 3rd xray and will see him again in 8 weeks.
I agree I wish they'd leave the chocolates inside and that pooh stamp is adorable. I am doing Christmas cards now because I am coordinating the card section for Stockings For Soldiers and we need to make 3000 so I dont want to get to the deadline of September and find I have to make 2000 more LOL
ReplyDeleteBridget #12
great crafty goodies on your desk, Lots of papers, I put things away in boxes... then cant find them!!! Hugs May x x x#26
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear what is happening to you. There always seems to be a bad apple some place that makes things hard on the rest of us.
ReplyDeleteI'm still going to keep on with the news from you and we'll be around to buy some of your drawings. God forbid my grandkids don't get one of you wonderful drawings!! They look forward to them so much.
I hope things get better for you soon.
Busy desk - I love my Really Useful Boxes.
ReplyDelete#101
Hi, I keep my Christmas papers separate too, but I'm not sure it's a good idea because a lot of the patterns in the packs aren't occasion specific so they might come in useful at any time of the year. Anyway, you have a lovely collection of paper packs there and your wee teddy is cute. Hope you've had a good WOYWW. Elizabeth x #42
ReplyDeletea clutter desk is the sign of a GENIUS!
ReplyDeletefabulous!
hugs :)
So many papers, a useful box is certainly needed. Bummer that the chocolate box was empty.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.

I have had a go at "organising" my stash but I make a start and then want to get some of it out again (or I buy more and have nowhere to put it). Chocolate boxes without chocolate - that's not good! You have to have the chocolates to help the creativity for the box (you know - get a connection to the box!). Still, it is better than no chocolate box at all. Hugs, Suze
ReplyDeleteI would love to be rummaging all these fun things on your desk! Busy girl!
ReplyDeleteSoooo sorry spyder, I love your little digis. I made some name tags with the kitties, for my new grocery bags. I need to made some with the cute bears now. I will also keep up on your doings. Take care.
ReplyDeleteYou have the kind of desk that looks so inviting and makes me wish I could have a play there! Your digital image is adorable! I put away all my xmas papers, stamps, embellishments and they stay put away til late autumn. Do you keep your out all year? Just curious :)
ReplyDeletexoxo Karen #168
That is a lot of free paper! I have to confess that my stack is getting to be that size too. When am I going to actually use it?
ReplyDeletehave fun,
rachel
I so suffer from 'out of sight out of mind'...always have but its getting worse with age ...now when i find them I often have no recollection of having them in the firt place unless i think hard.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute bear btw xx
I put all my Christmas paper tucked away and was afraid I'd forget about it. I didn't though because when it came time to make cards there was no paper but I knew I had a lot of it, so I just had to go get the box. I labeled the box in with a big label and put it where it could be easily found. You might surprise yourself! I am just now becoming an huge addict of the 6x6 pads of paper. Like you I have some freebie ones but I went on a tear with birthday money and bought quite a few. There are many more on my wish list too. Like I need more paper!!
ReplyDeleteOooh lot's of lovely paper pads there! that tin with the drawers looks very handy.... shame about the lack of choccies though :o) x April#86
ReplyDeleteHi Lyn,
ReplyDeleteSorry not visited for ages, been having huge Blogger issues. Now fixed (fingers crossed) and playing catchup. Hope you and family are well and have a great weekend.
Hugs
Kaza. xxx
When I saw your desk, I actually thought it was NEaT, at least more so than normal (grin). Where you put your Christmas paper should be the same place you put it every year. Then you will remember where it is. Otherwise, you will keep hunting and buying new. Happy belated WOYWW from number 5. Thanks for your visit before I could get to you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely desk/workspace, so much to play with. Fancy someone giving you a box of chocs with no chocolates in though, that's just mean! Marie #74
ReplyDeleteThose 6x6 pads are so useful. I love the way the designs are scaled down for smaller projects.
ReplyDeleteFiona xx #45

Had to laugh at the "you might forget about them" (christmas papers) as I do the same thing! If I leave stuff out then I am sure to use it! I started out very organized and try to clean up, but end up with an awful mess again so into a box all the little extra papers! Love your tutorials and such and will be doing. thanks for sharing your talent, your craft spot and for giving such a great blot! I guess that means you are great! Yep, you are! xxxooo
