It's Wednesday again... (well, it was when I typed this) and as I've said many times... Wednesday's come around far more times than any other day of the week! Here's what's on my desk this Wednesday... Not very exciting. Some clear stamps that I've just started to cut out ready to add a bit of Kling-on (nothing to do with StarTrek..) it's that sticky rubbery stuff you put on your non-wooden backed stamps. Bit fiddly but has to be done other wise you can't really use them...well you can..but..no, not really, anyway. Here's a YouTube Video on how to do it right. See, told you... very boring worktop this week. So, if yours is better, more exciting, or even more boring than my desk, take a picture, pop over to Julia's Stamping Ground... and join in and we're come round and have a nose.
Watch out for 600 followers freebie coming up soon and this Wednesday's freebie...Thanks for stopping by!

I'm in the middle of mounting too - not my fave job - have been known to stamp in a mountless state! Decided to go for the posh ones now if possible. You only live once...
ReplyDeleteHappy Dabbling!

I think you've got away with it, we are looking desks rather than finished projects (although of course we all like to show off a little now and then!!). Your desk is one that is good for a cup of tea and a biscuit/cake and a half an hour route round!!
ReplyDeleteI've done once those kling-on things and it wasn't fun. :)
ReplyDeleteOhh I don't think its boring at all I'd love to have a play around. Lots of pretty stamps. I know what you mean about putting the Klingon onto your stamps - I bought a 75 foot roll of the stuff from USA cause it was cheap - I don't know how many stamps I thought I'd need it for!! Thanks for sharing xx
ReplyDeleteI hate the boring jobs, like mounting stamps or cleaning my desk -shudder-, but it's a necessary evil =( Have a happy Wednesday! (stamp mounting aside) Mel #51
ReplyDeleteI love the thought of using a Star Trek Klingon to back your stamps on - lol. I think he'd be very cross!! Great busy desk, looks like you've got a lot going on there! Hugs, LLJ xx
ReplyDeleteOMG! Look at all the stuff to browse through- my eyes didn't know where to look first! great creative space, and all those gorgeous stamps-!swoon!

ReplyDeleteLove all that red rubba on the desk, especially as there's some of the HM variety! What are those little squares on your inks in the second photo? Not a boring desk at all, I think with you that's simply wouldn't be possible!

Gotta admit, I'm not much of a stamper but I don't use that klingon stuff. I use a repositionable glue called Wacky Tac. It lasts forEVER and if I have to replace it, it starts out as a liquid and dries clear. No extra stuff to buy and work with. Happy belated.
ReplyDeleteLOTS of stamps missus, how nice! I'm of the opinion that your desk is never boring - more a feast for my eyes!
ReplyDeleteAwesome desk. Got most of my stamps off wood now. Love the klingy stuff. Sorry I am so late getting by this week but I wanted to pop by and visit your blog to say hello and to see what you are up to! Didn't have the time to post(except about newest Doswell addition) or craft the past two weeks due to being in Virginia visiting with the son's family to see the newest granddaughter born. Definitely a fun time none the less. Hope you have a great week. Vickie aka okienurse
ReplyDeleteI hate mounting stamps, but alas, if we are to use them, we have to do it.
ReplyDeleteHappy very belated WOYWW
