It's Wednesday! It always zooms up on me and appears to arrive halfway through the week just after last Friday, the rest of the days of the week, vanishing into the tiny cracks in the fragment of time (oho that's deep)
For those of you who don't know (and where have you been?) To day's the day that every one (throws mud pies, strips naked and runs round a May Pole) Don't be silly, every one blog hops all over the World, (well, near enough) and snoops in on what every one else has been up to all week. As usual, I'm in a BIG mess, but busy...Craft bench looks like the hamster got out and jingled with the mice, only we haven't got a hamster (or mice ) The Elephant's are showing they used to have more toes. Superman notebook, unused, had been thrown away, I rescued it! So now, it's waiting to be 'altered.' (I've never altered a book in my life...but I can dream!) The budgie is Sue's (who won my digi banner prize last month) I have sent it to her, but I'm still playing with it too...
So, as per usual, I'm in the living room on (no, not the dining table) but my ironing board. This gives me the sense that the mess, I mean, the creativeness, isn't going to be there forever. It gives me the feeling that whatever I'm doing, it will be done and finished, so it can all be put away..tidily. .I won't mention the ironing board's been up since Sunday or that Hubby has glittered shirts for work, but!! I'm making a 'Snowy' Christmas card, at least I know it'll all be cleared away by December! (which December I can't say!) ... So, that's it! Off you go to Julia's Stamping ground and get signed on!! This is on timer, I am at work and this has been What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday! See you all later!

ur quite possibly mad as a hatter, and I love it, snowy christmas card is looking great, how can you be so messy yet so organised, its beyond me, hate making xmas cards, dunno why, must be the pressure, took some great snowy photos last year and will prob cheat and use them :)
ReplyDeleteI did smile when I read your post, I can't believe you are working on your ironing board LOL. You have such a fab crafting area but you are using the ironing board, mind you it is better than ironing on it. Like the look of the snowy Christmas card. Have a lovely day, Tracy Evans x
ReplyDeleteGreat freebie hun thank you
ReplyDeletehugs shell xx
are your blog makes so much snese to me ( should I worry?)
ReplyDeletehave been checking your blog out since I got back but have not really had time to get coffee and sit and comment - will spend more tiME on it now I'm back,
altered book? - start by ripping a page out and sticking it somewhere else - breaks the fear barrier! and you can always stick it backinthe same place but upside down and then you get into parallel universe stuff ( which I already know you dig)
Dx
FAB xmas cards or they will be!
ReplyDeleteI love that stamp and youve got just so many lush ribbons Lyn!
I'll 4give you the swear words (i*0* b0$*d) coz you're such a great crafter and so generous too! Thank you for the fab house, Ive just made 5 and am too scared to make and post anymore on my blog!

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful pile of creativeness. Had to smile about the ironing board ... I find everyway not to iron ...so mine would just be there forever and a day lol...now thats an idea to increase the crafting surface area.
ReplyDeleteI adore your snowman card.xx
I haven't got room to set my ironing board up lol
ReplyDeleteAltered book...glue all the pages together then cut out sections from the side to slide drawers into.
Absolutely wonderful crafty clutter! Love that sparkly christams card on your ironing board - has to be a better use for that particular household item than it's original purpose!
ReplyDeleteCrafting mayhem at its best! Thanks for sharing....
ReplyDeleteI normally go to work and always have a spot of glitter on my face....thanks for the freebies - love them x

ReplyDeleteThis house digi is so very cute!! Thanks so much for sharing it and your where you work. You aren't the only one with your workspace!!!
ReplyDeleteThe problem with larger workspace - more (as my husband puts it) craft crap. Don't tell him - but I think I have enough stuff to last several lifetimes or the next visit to the craft store whichever comes first. Thank you for the house digi. My daughter just built and moved into a new house. Perfect timing. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteLove the elephant digi, have downloaded it. Well done on the christmas card, I've only managed to make half a one so far!
ReplyDeleteAlison x
Oh, what a lovely image. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHmmm. Haven't thought of using the ironing board. Our kitchen table has long since been out of bounds for actually crafting on since it's my main storage area! (I need more space...)
Haven't tried ironing board as yet...will give it a try....thanks for sharing the image ...its beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI work on my ironing board too :)

ReplyDeleteOh, I love this! Can't wait to use it! Thank you so much.....
ReplyDeleteThanks for the freebie L, will love using that. The Ellies are cute too, how sweet and cheerful. Your DH is better than mine - he wouldn't mind but wouldn't understand at all if I started to spread and finished up on the ironing board!!
