Grrrr! It's Time for OSAAT's Next Challenge!!

I told you you'd never guess, not in a million years!! This is my DT Card for One Stitch At A Time, currently known as OSAAT, for short...
Yes, as I whispered late last night, while you were all asleep and snoring out the Zz's, this weeks challenge is a...
Recipe
We'd like to see...
2 pieces of backing paper
2 brads (or eyelets) and some ribbon.
Once more we have another fabulous sponsor
Susie Sugar from Die Cut Dreams
Susie has offered up a "Mystery Die-cuts" prize!!
(Only because our dear Sam has no idea what it is yet! but we all know Susie has fabulous die-cuts so whatever the prize, it will be fantastic!!)

Ok, I can hear you say, where's your two backing papers on your card? Well, actually when I first got Dino from Stitchy (his mum and creator) I thought, where in Henry am I suppose to put some ribbon on a Dinosaur's card?!? Call him Dina and give him a bow??? Nah! Too easy!!
The thought came into my head two seconds later. (The little ol' brain ce
lls can be quick sometimes!) 'Put him in a cage or box!' I mean...when have you ever seen a dinosaur?? Not roaming The New Forest or the Cornish moors that's for sure! (Okay, so the Isle of Wight might have a few...) But normally, no where else, unless they're skeletons in a museum. So, all week I've been pondering how to do this. (Okay, so the brains cells aren't that quick after all!)
First, I printed out some Pink Petticoat yellow paper and then I drew the wood effect box onto it. (See, clever...that's my first paper) Then I printed out Dino, coloured him with my Promakers and cut him out leaving enough of the card he was printed on to form the back and 'sides' of of his 'box' .
Then, I cut the 'box'
out, and cut the zig-zag doors out, leaving enough on the outside to fold around the card with Dino on. Simples. (Hmmm I think I still have some hair left!)
My second paper is the grass and flower paper, which I bought from Hobby Craft ages ago. I stuck that onto an ordinary sized card, then fixed Dino and his 'box' onto the front and added the flowers, grass and the signs. They appear to be hanging from 'brown nails' which are in fact my two brads. And the ribbon?? The 'strap' around Dino's box! I'm not just a pretty face! (No..Honest, I'm not!)
Originally, t
he card said 'Have a Gggrrr8 day...(when it was open) Then, 'Have a Grrrr8 Birthday!' but ended up saying 'Have a Ggrrrr8 Time!' (My mum's idea! So blame her!)
So off you go
, over to OSAAT, to find out who won lasts weeks challenge, who's won the top three and what the other DT members have done! They've all done 'proper 'cards... I was thinking, d'you think they gave me the dinosaur, coz I'm probably the oldest in the team???
I've just been informed by 'son-in-law', Tom, that Dino isn't a dinosaur at all, he's a dragon, coz he has wings...well, there you go....he must be an expert. I personally wouldn't stop long enough to have a look if I met one...I'd be running in the opposite direction, screaming loudly!!
I had a Ggrrrr8 Birthday Friday by the way, thank you to every one who sent cards and email cards too. Thank you to Liz and to Ali, (Dragon Lady) who also sent lovely stamped images and papers and doilies!!
This is on timer...coz I'm out, as it's Mother's Day!!!! Have a lovely Day to everyone who's a Mum or Mom!!! I'll be back later to correct all my mistakes and add a few more links!! Bye for now...
