Flash back Friday's Challenge this time round is 'First Non-Traditional Shaped Card'
Well, I've had a look out the back, and hope this one counts. It was first posted here in February 2009. No comments as not a soul came visiting back then! Bad pictures, I'm afraid, as I hadn't been blogging long, I'd never heard of challenges!
I used a Penny Black stamped image (a r.a.k image) and Pink Petticoat Papers, cut the card into an odd shape, layered it up with other odd shapes, coloured the 3D hedgehog pink with...Whispers! (only had two Promarkers back then! magenta and red!) then added acetate to 'square' the card up again. The tiny little swirly dots are from peel-off waste bits.
The Freebie font is called 215000Euro and you can down load it here. It looks like it's on a slight curve so I may have done it in WordArt and coloured it pink on the computer.

Challenge
Looks like a sweet little pink girls card! Always fun to look back isn't it?
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! Such a fun idea with the layers creating the shape of the card :>) Don't you love how when we flashback we get to cards that no one may have even seen?!!! This one definitely fits with the Flashback Friday challenge, thanks for joining in the fun :>)
ReplyDeleteWhat a super CUTE acetate card...perfect for the current Flashback Friday Challenge. I love all the panels/layers and the happy happy colors!!!! Thanks so much for playing with us over at Flashback Friday!
ReplyDeleteBut it's so cute - it would have been criminal not to publish it again and give us the chance to see it. I wasn't blogging in 2009 either and didn't have ANY pro markers back then either!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday
Kathyk
I'm back again...wanted to let you know that I featured your card on the Flashback Friday blog today!
ReplyDeleteThank you!! (Late reply because 'reply' wasn't here back then!) But I've added the link!
