WoW. It's WOYWW!

Morning Bloggy People. Hope you're all fit and happy! It's WOYWW and this is what's on my desk this week! Yes, you've guessed....more mess! (but I did sort of tidy up!) Been very busy all the week so am behind with everything, as usual! On my workbench this week is one of my DT cards for Quirky...

and some wiggly blue lines I did. It's supposed to be 'under the sea,( find that here) as I couldn't find any 'sea' papers...but if you spy the card still having it's photo taken, that's for the reminder on Sunday and I found some nice blue paper with flowers. That's it!! 'see you later over on Julia's Stamping Ground! I'm walking dogs for most of the day.... byeeee

Quirky's Octopus's Garden... And Some Freebie Papers

I had soooo many things I was going to join in with today but just never found the time but, at last! Here's one of my cards for the latest Quirky Crafts Octopus's Garden challenge...(without the Octopus, as he's eating his birthday cake!)

 I like this little fish, I mean...look! He has an umbrella! He comes from  Squigglefly.   one of our three sponsors!

As I didn't have any coloured ink last week...or paper (honestly I must be the only crafter in the World out of ink and paper!)  I made by own backing papers using lots of different blue Promarkers...

(which I've added here for you to download. It's supposed to be wiggly Waves!)) then scanned it into the computer, resized it, placed the little fish over the top, printed him out and then coloured him with ProMarkers too, and that's when you could see that I had a dog on the other side of the paper! (A dog's leg actually!)

 So! I now have coloured ink, yay! (Lovely stuff!) and have 'redone' him! It's a mixture of computer and Promarker. There's also a smaller fish there too.

 The font I've used on the sign is a  freebie, it's called Grilled Cheese. (If you google the name, that's what you'll get!) so download it HERE

The little skulls are also a free font, (the letter B) there's other skulls, it's called Evilz, download HERE
I think that's it. My computer seems to be writing in black, which means you can't read it, so I'm typing in yellow.... which means I can't see it!! never mind! Back again later....I hope to add this to some...

Stop For T with an Altered Book!

Okay, I know I'm late for T over on Elizabeth's, so I've back dated this as I am at this moment (when I've finished typing) sitting down and slurping some tea, although, in the picture, the (Irish Coffee glass) cup holds hot milk over Nutella...(stirred well and leave the spoon in! But mind you don't poke your eye out!) I stopped for a break mainly because I'd run out of my Sage coloured fence paint. As you can see, I didn't just use this on the fence, shed, bird table and the trellis... I've done pots to match too! Seeing they were all tangled up in the ivy and looking very sad, I think they've scrubbed up well! Now all I need are some plants!

Here's the card I've made especially for the challenge with a few things added so I can add it to a few other challenges too.

I've used the digi Merry Chris (That's her name) coloured her with ProMarkers (my favourites!) after playing about on the computer to size it all up and print it all out together with her already placed over my freebie snowy backing paper. (this is another of my favourite things)
 The blue is a little darker as I used Hubby's printer and computer as mine is still out of coloured ink, which means you can't really see the Christmas tree she is carrying so I've used a green, yellow and red gel pen to make it sparkle.
 I've then added lots of white sparkling Flowersoft, which was free from a magazine some time ago, a button 'Let it Snow' sign, (I love buttons like this!!) a tiny pom-pom to her hat and a white snowflake sequin.

The papers, on the front topper my freebie snowy paper. The Christmas paper, with all those cuties on (another favourite!) came from a 6x6 paper pack 'Cosy Christmas' from Forever Friends.
The red paper inside came from a freebie pack from Quick Cards made easy  magazine last year called, 'Cosy Christmas Collection.'

The ric-rac is red card also a magazine freebie. The red stretchy Christmas cord, tiny string of red beads and bow are from my stash. I've also added silver and white peel off embossed corners. I think that's it! Thank you for stopping by. I hope to add this to a few ...

Happy WOYWW!? Or is that Aah! Bisto?

First WOYWW of 2013 showing Bisto drums!

Morning Happy WOYWWers. Here's my desk this week... Okay... not much going on... the cold mocha  has been removed and the iced coke ended up having a dash of rum...That was yesterday afternoon and last night, and now...(drum roll) at last The Bisto drums as well as some of the Cocoa drums, have been painted, ready to be glued to my plastic lazy Susan, and then... spray painted with some colour I can find out in the garage... probably a touch up colour we had for the many old cars we get through! 

6 months later, drums are painted!

So, that'll be black, blue....off white... red....bronze (that's going back a few years...) whatever colour I find, they'll look better than they do now~they've waited a long time! It originally was my very first WOYWW anniversary thing I made, but didn't finish as I used paper cups with wide tops and narrow bottoms (wish I had a narrow bottom!) and I soon realised I could only get a few pens to fit.

Can't quite get on the swivel chair to take this one!

Hopefully when the new super tower revolting revolving turntable is finished (in another six months!) it with look super fab! (Okay maybe not...imagination is a very special thing!)
