Just A few ATC's

Just a very quick post. Yes I know, once I get yakking they go on and on and on...but no, this will be a very short post, and any crack jokes about 4 by 2's will go ignored (y'know, 4 by 2's... long bits of wood... post. Never mind!) Just a few 'flowers' ATC's I thought I'd put on, not literally, of course, because they 'woodn't' fit! Well why not, I know all you out there can do so much better but, (I whisper) I did forget again and so had to do them very quick and then chase the postman. He's getting used to it now, and runs a bit faster!
Actually I think they look better in the photograph...shame it's such a terrible photograph! Oh before I go (This post is getting longer..) five new followers!! A big (((wave))) and hi to Shelbert, with no link at the moment (aw shame) Gemm85 and Josephine who also haven't got a link but!! (Drum roll please!! )they've both just joined 'One Stitch At A Time's Design team! then Piddawinkle who's a WOYWW fan and has a dining table stashed high with crafty goodies! and Lorraine from Lorraine's Loft who has a fabulous blog with loads going on including a fortnightly Simon Says blog candy, which I still haven't had a go at that yet as I'm not sure what the actually challenge is...me being of very small brain! So? How was your Thursday? Thanks for stopping by!

So, What's On Your WorkDesk Wednesday?

Hey! Don't faint but, it's sort of 'tidy'!!! (of course this is all you're going to see! No way am I turning right round.) This is my bench just after midnight this morning, when most sensible people were tucked up in bed and sound asleep. Snoring! Wednesday you see, if you still don't know, and if you don't, where have you been??? is the day when all us 'bloggers' have a bit of a nosy around each other's work spaces, just to see what we've all been up to. Here's the link... What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday now you have no excuse, come and join in!!
I've had a tidy of my Stamps, as I bought a few more Penny Blacks from (another WOYWW fan) and I'm quite surprised that my bull-clip scissors holders have lasted a few weeks now and, thank you to those of you who suggested it, I've found my TV remote and I'm now keeping it in my (still not finished) twirly pen thing I made for the Bloggaversary. I've just finished the ATC's you can see and there's todays *Freebie Didi Digi. Something a little different this week, so I hope you like it!! (*new Freebie on the next new Wednesday Post)
A picture of my very untidy work space is at the moment on the home page of Cardmaking and PaperCraft Forum... thankfully it's only a small picture. One of their other Magazine's (Quick Cards I think) is doing a 'thing' on where their readers craft and how messy it gets next month and I just happen to mention WOYWW! There's a bit of a 'voting thing going on! if you pop-over, hunt out their freebie papers!
Sorry, flowers still not all planted so I hope to bring an up date on my hanging baskets next week!! (or the week after!) But they're not looking too bad!
Well, it's late, the flesh eating vampire bat film has just finished, so this is going on timer, as tomorrow I'm off to work and as always (unless I just can't wait and have to go and nudge Mr Blogger and he's not very good timekeeper into starting a bit earlier, in which case, I'll still be here but very late for said work!)
Happy Wednesday!

Sorry You've missed the freebie, but there will be a new one on the newest Wednesday's Post

Claire's' New 'We are Moving' Card

This is the card I'd aimed to do for my OSAAT's Design Team card last Sunday, isn't it great!! (well I'm bound to say that) The lovely image was also drawn by Claire Hope Jacare Doodles and it's one of her new releases, (see Sunday's post for the other one) which you'll find over in the Stitchy Bear Stamps Store! but as my camera decided to go on strike over the weekend, you get to see it now, which is just as well as I hadn't quite finished it and then I put it somewhere 'safe' and of course, forgot where!
I'm always doing this. I find strange things in the fridge or airing cupboard that should be somewhere else. (My car keys for instance) They say it has something to do with my age. I park the car and can't find it, so it has this pink Piglet head stuck onto it's aerial which, luckily, my eyesight isn't so bad that I can see over miles of parked cars... and yes... even if there's another car with the same, Pink Piglet head, I know which is mine, owing to the fact that my Pink Piglet lost both his ears, some time ago! (note: the fact that the other car with the pink piglet head, is 1) a different make. 2) a different colour and 3) completely clean and shiny and I have no idea what colour or make my car is anyway, doesn't come into it)
I made the image probably a little too big, but then again, if I was moving, I'd want to surprise everyone with a lovely card...and then not tell them where or when! (This is where I cackle and rub my hands together like an old witch)
There's plenty of room to add moving details inside the card or on the back or even a map, I was thinking of doing this, but laziness over come me so I didn't and in any case, the imaginary place where I'd love to move to, is only inside my head and therefore, there is no map!
The Card's turned out to be a 7X7. Not by design, but by complete accident and me being rubbish at working out how big something will be before I print it out.
I just folded a piece of A4 card so that the back, which stared off being the front, measured this (or a little larger than the image) and then added acetate to the front. (which was the back)
I only added the butterflies because I smudged a bit of the ink I edged the card with onto the image, so after swearing (oh bother!) I thought the butterflies and the peel-offs added a nice touch, instead of the flowers I might have added.
I've coloured the snail with Promaker pens with some Stickles Glitter, although it doesn't show up too well in the photographs.
The papers are the same Freebies I mentioned in my OSAAT's Sunday post, so scroll down if you want the link!
Hi (((wave!!) to new follower Crystal's Crafty Creations Kristen has a fabulous craft room, I'm sooo jealous!! but on a very much more serious side has a link to the Going Grey Challenge- Card for a Child, please take a moment to pop over and read these children's stories and try and join in with the challenge. OSAAT's New Challenge

It's Sunday, and yesterday was Saturday. (Happy Birthday John!) He had his new cook book, two new ...well... three new cook books... and made a guy in W. H. Smith laugh out loud when he got over excited about the pictures in one of them! But it's Sunday now so that means it's time for...
Fabulous cards and makes last week so pop over to the Challenge blog to find out who won and who the top three are. This week the New challenge is all about ...
*New/Celebrations*
We've had that one, I can hear you say! Oh no, that was new crafty stuff, this week it's all about new happenings! Things to celebrate.(Of course I'll probably be changing all this later!) So, New Home, New baby, New Puppy, New car, New hair-do, New underwear...(well, maybe not!) New Shoes! (I had to get that one in!) A new direction in your life. Congratulations, (Granulation??) I mean Graduation! Birthday's, Father's day, Pass Your Driving Test Day, New Job, New Teacher, New bike! New day! Starting a new life, Wedding, divorce even!

This time I've made a rectangle easel card, instead of my usual square (so that's new!) The Image on my card is by the lovely Claire, Hope Jacare. It's a new release and will be available over in The Stitchy Bear Store, if not now, very very soon!
I added the extra hearts around the bag because I just wanted too, and loads of glitter. I've also added some Stickles glitter to the lovely pink papers. Who's are they? Some of you will know, other's won't. They're by Tinker & Co and you can download them for free HERE (Don't forget to leave some love)
There is another card in the pipeline also made with one of Claire's fabulous images, so please watch out for that too, later today or maybe tomorrow. (I'd really like to put it in it's own Post, then it'll show up in Mr Linkwithin!) My camera decided not to work yesterday and now it does, can I find where I put the card for 'safety??' No... of course I can't!

OSAAT's New Pic of a Quick Flic

Here's my DT card for OSAAT's new challenge that starts tomorrow. (Sunday) Hopefully there might even be another one, camera permitting. Another card, that is, not another challenge...although there will be a...I'll stop there, before I confuse myself. I've learnt something today. It's no good shouting at them, cameras are quite deaf. Anyway, here's the card. It's not a bad picture, considering! A few swirls, some pearls. Clues? No, of course not!! Nice papers, and tomorrow I'll tell you where you can download them for free! Night night!!

Birthday Card For A Dragon Slayer

I'm quite pleased with how this card turned out, although I didn't have any grey-ish card and had to use pearl blue instead, I don't think it really notices. The card's for Hubby's birthday tomorrow, definitely my Dragon Slayer, if there were any dragons...but he is very good at removing spiders from the bath! He takes them outside with me squirming and yelling "Flush it down the plug hole!!" or "Get the hoover out and hoover it up !!" For those of you not from this country, that translates as, 'vacuum cleaner' and 'vacuum it up'. Although in my case it would be Miele.
There is one thing I just have to say... I don't think even I would ever want to 'Dyson' a spider... not with those clear drums... can you imagine it!?? Big fat hairy spiddy whizzing round and round the wall of death at 90 miles and hour, like a tiny black ball of wool with seven and a half hairy legs spayed out in all directions! And then, when you switch the Dyson off, the hairy beast flops down with the fluff presumed dead but then rises from the dust mountain, still alive...and angry! I shudder just thinking about it! It's enough to give me night mares!!
Back to the card I think... It's a Dustin Pike cartoon, as if you need telling, and I've just realised it might fit into a challenge over on Dustin's Doodle Dragon Studio Challenge Blog where you obviously have to use a Doodle Dragon and this time, 'flowers'. So this card does tick all the boxes.
As always, I've used my ProMakers for the colouring. The wording was done on my laptop. The font is one I've already mentioned, it's called Cool Dots and you can download it for free, HERE. or HERE
Hi and a BIG (((wave))) to new Follower Esther Hi Esther! who is a WOYWW fan, a new blogger with some fabulous cards and a lovely pendant made from black shrink plastic! So pop over and say hi!!

WOYWW This week...

I'm gonna make this really quick!! (Bet yer don't!) This Wednesday what's on my workdesk is almost the same amount of rubbish - I mean crafty stuff- as I had last week, mainly because I've been out in the garden, filling hanging baskets, painting garden pots and gnome hunting. (long story, but there's a picture!) so haven't really done an awful lot of card making today (Tuesday) so just dumped everything back in, (no, you're not seeing the floor!) and taken the picture. (One day I will tidy it and pigs will rule the World, and make cards!) but I have done a freebie Lion. Hope you like him. He's peeking on my desk with another little bear I finished colouring about five minutes ago. And as you can see my unfinished WOYWW Anniversary swivel thingy is still unfinished but being used, so I surprised myself by not binning it! And, my new Promakers are still in their colour-coded draws! (it won't last!) Once more, I'm at work, this is on timer, or... I'm still here and I'm very very late!
'Yes' to a question from last week, that's me and him's Wedding picture, it's been hanging about since April when I blogged about our Anniversary. I must put it away! The little calender at the end, (Secret Santa pressie) is at last showing the right month! (things people notice!!)
This next picture isn't in my craft room, (no, really?) it's a hanging basket, without the hanging bits, I'll put them back on later.
First, cover the garden table with an old shower curtain...then rake the front lawn to gather up all this lovely moss, stuff it into a basket, cut a bit of plastic from a compost bag to line it, to help stop the water running straight out, fill with soil and then plant. Easy. Finished picture of lovely basket filled with blooms next week! (hopefully)

And now... Gnome Hunting... It's true, there are Gnomes in The New Forest... here's one... I'll tell you the story one day... but it's all down to poor hubby becoming a...Blogger-widower... (sounds like a duck!)
So, if you feel the urge to show well over a hundred bloggers where you do your crafting...be it on the floor, in the shed or even in the car while hubby goes fishing, pop over to Stamping ground and say Hi to Julia and join in... but be warned, the week will become strangely shorter!
Thank you to everyone who popped in last week, I'm 99% sure I got round everyone, maybe one or two who didn't actually have a blog!! Fabulous! Get your blogs up and running and come and join in!!

Now, if you feel you'd love to scroll down to the last post and vote for my card on the first Linkz Challenge, it's number 43!! and I'd be a very happy bunny!!

Sorry! This Wednesday's Freebie has now gone. There'll be a new one on the next Wednesday's Post.
