Not A Happy WOYWW#905

Oh my. What can anyone say, our WOYWW host, sarahscraftshed, has sadly passed away so suddenly, so unexpectedly, it's frightening. Julia at Stamping Ground has taken up the reins again for this week. She has written a lovely tribute to her. I never met her, but she always left a lovely message and had some wonderful journals and art pages on her blog. Quite unlike mine, which has probably been the same since my John passed.

Once again, I'm crafting on the table in the living room. I've cut out some tags from the boxes and bags my bulbs came in, so I can put them into my pots. Not very exciting. I'll plants the pots out later. If I do it now, they'll just get trampled on. I have men coming to make a step to the Gardenroom/shed, at last some one is coming!  It's been a long time coming...weeks and weeks. I did start doing it myself in a rubbish sort of way. Didn't look too good. The green folder is full to the brim of magazine papers. I have a lot of them! There's also a masterboard I did while thinking I was staying for a long weekend House/dog/sitting.  I used some magazines in the recycle bin and some receipts that were in my bag.  So a lovely cutting up mess! Imagine my panic when she rang the same day to say she'd be home two hours early that same day! A quick clear up of everything in record time!
Shame I can't tidy my craftroom that quickly!! That's it from me...I am house sitting this weekend, but probably won't unpack too much this time! The above masterboard might save if you paste and copy it. I'm going to add a bit more to it, paint and ink- I think. That's it from me. See on  WOYWW!?# Thank you for stopping by.

  1. I still keep thinking it's a mistake and Sarah is still here, she was just so full of life that it's difficult to believe she's gone. I've been trying to tidy my cabin and still not sorted after weeks but it just got too hot to work in there. Love the new Masterboard and hope we get to see how you use it. WOYWW hugs, Angela x12x

  9. Such a sad day for all who knew Sarah - dealing with loss is so hard, as you well know, and I think it will take a bit for us all to get over the shock. Best thing to do is keep busy and your masterboard was surely good therapy. So creative.

  11. It did make me wonder if news of Sarah’s passing would renew/underline a lot of grief for some, it’s not the same but grief never is either is it. You made me laugh at the thought of clearing up in a panic, if only I could do that here! The master board looks great, kind of you to share it. Glad to hear about the step, a tick off the life long list!
