Here's my card, love all that hair!! But she's not really finished yet! (I told you I was late!) I printed her out ready to 3D but all my 'Ice Grey' Promarkers have run out, well, they didn't actually run out (Promarkers with legs suddenly came into my mind then...) but anyway, you know what I mean! I wanted Lucy Loo Bookaholic from Unky's EAST WIND to have black hair, which I'm rubbish at, never know what colours to blend, black looks so dark on it's own, so a quick trundle to You Tube and I found our own blogging friend Kimbley and you definitely need the ice greys!
Here's my card so far...I've used the Unky image called Lucy Loo Bookaholic. I only just had enough of the wrong colour grey to do this one. (you won't see her when I 3D her later) She has been printed over the background paper, (as a PNG) so that saves a bit of colouring. The only thing that has been 3D-ed at this time, is the book.
The card is 6x6 with a tiny slice cut off the front. (I did that because the paper was a little short.) The papers I've used came as a freebie download from CardMaking and PaperCraft. Always worth a visit for their freebie papers! On the inside I covered up the shortness again by just leaving the black layer showing and covering it with some Oriental peel-offs.
The Freebie font is called HongKong. I'm not sure what the puched out sign means, perhaps you do! I wasn't sure which way up it should go either. I think it might mean Blessings or Happiness. When the card is closed you can see the 'Just For You' sentiment. I'll take another pic later. That's it for now... I'll add more soon...
