It's sponsor time again! This week Dragonsmoore, Spyder's Other Corner is sponsoring...
PinSpirational's challenge this time is nice an easy. They've sent me a lovely picture of a cake with candles, although I would've loved a slice too! Can't beat a bit of birthday cake! Anyway, that can only mean one thing in my book, party time! Birthdays! One winner will win any five digi's from my store, regardless of price and another winner will win four digi's from Delicious Doodles.
Here's my card, thought I'd join in too with this party going puss! Well, actually he's run off with the birthday cake! I called him Cookie Cake Kitty
He's making off with a chocolate fudge cookie cake! I've coloured him with promarkers and as always, he's been 3D-ed . There's about four layers of him. The first one had an ear missing, then I just cut out a whole kitty but without the whiskers, then there's another without a tail, a leg and some of the candles. The last layer is just his upper body. I've layered it all on red card, then red gingham which you can download FREE from Activity Village (Link always on sidebar)
The doily and the red and white twine were freebies from Craft Magazines. The white die cut 'flower' I cut from foam and added a candi top to it.
The papers were freebies from CardMaking and PaperCraft Magazine last year. A booklet called 'Summertime Luxury Paper Collection.' by Jenny Ellory.
First time I've used these papers. They're double sided, which means... you have to choose which lovely side to use, and I hate having to glue down a pretty colour on the other side, never to be seen! Anyway, I've used two sheets here as I really loved the cakes!
The font is a freebie it's callled Dom Casual BT download that HERE (some sites charge) I've also added, a little detail with white gell pen and a few dabs of Stickles Glitter.
I'm still having trouble with a bug on my computer. I've noticed today that things are quite right here on there blog either, so it hasn't been killed off yet, but does seem well and truely wacked and has at least stopped popping up adverts or sending me off to other sites when I'm typing, or flashing up some other things across my screen. Meanwhile, Hubby's put he's doctors mask on and is still looking into it!
Back to the challenge, here's the inspirational picture...so it's now up to you! Pop over and join in! That's it!! Thank you for stopping by! 800 followers freebie should be here soon, I'm sooo busy walking dogs I'm sure my legs are getting shorter!! Some of these might be a bit out of date but an hoping to add this to a few....

What a pretty and bright card! Love your kitty digi of course! I had a similar problem on my computer, and it turned out to be an add-on, so I clicked on Tools, then Manage Add-ons and figured out which ones were the culprits. Also had a couple things show up in the programs, so I had to go to Add/Delete programs to remove them. I think I'm going to stick with the fonts I already have, as I think I've gotten some things from downloads. Hope you get yours straightened out soon. Wish evil people would stop figuring out ways to mess things up on our computers!
ReplyDeleteThis was pretending to be a new browser, taking the place of firefox, it had linked itself into ordinary document files and had a link hiden in the address to open up google firefox, internet explorer etc, even McAfee didn't 'see' it as a problem! I did a simple 'search' and it apppeared in loads of ordinary documents... its gone now (I think) and hubby's just taken the link out on all the servers, so....fingers crossed!
DeleteThis 'bug' even came with a way to uninstall it....but of course that didn't work!!
DeleteFont sites did used to have a big problem, but I think they have cleaned up their sites now
DeleteHope your computer is all fixed now! Computer problems are so frustrating!!! Hope all is well...
DeleteThank you Debby!
