Hi guys, here's my re-done post for my reminder card for the Quirky Craft's challenge. (Hopefully the computer bug I had eariler has gone!) We're sponsored by Bugaboo and Crafty Ribbons! and the challenge is... Baby It's cold Outside with a Quirky twist, there has to be a drink to warm you up somewhere on your creation! (A tiny cup/mug or a large one, it doesn't matter as long as it's there!)
Here's My card. I've used Poppi-xmas-cocoa over my own back ground papers (HERE) using the digi as a PNG, then coloured with Promarkers. The mug has been 3D-ed although I've added the second straw so you can see it, then when I did the inside I added the spare penguin to the sentiment, so it looks like he's holding it.

No one won the little guessing game I did last week as no one entered, but I can tell you the answer to 'what was the colour/s used to colour the mug'... 'Poppy' and a dash of Pastel Blue!'
All the layers are mounted on gold mat card. I've also added, pearls, Stickles Glitter, gold peel off corners, punched out gold snowflakes. The larger little snowflake is plastic and was once part of a Christmas Tree ornament. (Throw nothing away!) The Merry Christmas ribbon is from DoCrafts. All the papers are by Pink Petticoat.
Inside, you can see where I've added that spare penguin. The freebie font is called, Curlz MT and you can Download it HERE or Google the name, (some sites charge)

Hi Lyn,
ReplyDeleteComputer problems are so frustrating. I hope everything starts working right again soon! Your mug card is very cute. I actually made myself some coffee this morning - something I think I'm going to start doing as it's getting cold here too!
Hugs,
Kay
