Hi Guys, it's that Quirky Time again... It's Cazzy's turn to set the theme, so get your thinking caps on! This time we're sponsored by Stitchy Bear Stamps and Digital Delights! And the challenges is.... BLACK and ONE other BRIGHT colour! AND (There's more....NO SQUARE OR RECTANGLES unless you do a scrap page or journal cover, etc.... right!?! This is what I've come up with. I've used my bottle template, cut the bottle bottom straight so it will stand up and, used black card and a nice bright gold/yellow for my bright colour. (White card coloured with a ProMarker)
The digi comes from Stitchy Bear HERE. I've 3D-ed him, just to make him 'pop' a bit. I've added some gold patterned card for the top of the bottle, with some embossed lines so it looks like a top. I've also rubbed on a bit of gold foil, but that doesn't really look too good, never mind. I then added some embossed die cuts, just to add a bit of interest.

I wasn't sure what you were going to do with the image, and this bottle is great Lyn!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't have to be black though, any one dark colour with any one bright colour.

I just finished doing a bottle shaped card but yours is soooooo much better. I've saved a copy of it in my 'spyder' file for future reference. Oh, thanks for the link to the font as well.
