ARRGGH! It's that What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday time again! I was going to tidy but I thought 'what the heck!' or words to that effect (affect?) Promarkers in pots along the wall, doesn't work, even if I did have them colour coded...I have to get the pots down to see the Promarkers. I'm too short!... So the ProMarkers get sprawled everywhere...and I know someone said in comments a little time ago, having too many boxes and keep changing it all around only leads to you forgetting where things are, So true!! I have no idea where my shrink plastic is now, not that I've used it in decades, but one needs to know where these things are, just in case! So this is the aftermath, the end resort of me making just two cards! With one in the pipeline, the Bugaboo freebie...who can spot him?? I used white flower soft on him...because I found it!!
You can just spy my old BigShot, I use thick card to get the embossing as I don't have all those different thickness plates, only the three it came with, years back. If you want to come and visit well over 100 blogs, just take a picture of wherever you craft, click over to Julia's Stamping Ground and join in! That's it, I'm waffling. Freebie will be here later! It's 2.30 in the morning. My bed is calling to me... no...it's John snoring...Thanks for stopping by!
LOOOVE IT. A Desk that makes mine look normal on a weekly basis!! Thanks for sharing. Ironically we both started out posts quite similar.. lol

oh my gosh, this is amazing!!he tools the creations, I love to see all these things, I'm not into this craft but I love to see what you do, I really admire this,
ReplyDeleteWow all those markers to color a couple images! Oh duh! You were looking for THE right color! :) Thanks for your comments on Punkin's Great Escape. Happy WOYWW! Nan 19
ReplyDeleteHoly Moly that's quite the creative collection! I too am short so I keep everything that I use most often on the low side, stuff I use less a little higher and the highest stuff I rarely use! Good luck!

What an amazing collection of promarkers and very cute cards.

Hi Lyn,
ReplyDeleteI have marker envy!! Oh, I've been picking up and packing my supplies as I'm going to hopefully put my home on the market.
Drats on my photos not showing up. I "think" I fixed it.... oh, I hope I did.
Hugs,

I enjoyed looking at all the things in your craft space, so many. Thanks for your earlier visit too.

It's hard to find a system for storing our stuff that works well! I've rearranged mine more times than I can count. I'm a shortie too, so the tall stuff doesn't work for me either.
ReplyDeleteJust shows what a busy busy bee you are Lyn! Creativity has it's price, like messy desks and late nights/early mornings. It's 4.50, aargh! Night night, enjoy WOYWW when you arise :0)) Mo x
ReplyDeleteLook at all those markers wow I use TouchTwin and had to put a little white sticker coloured with the name of the colour on it and put a piece of clear tape all around so it stays put. I always found the name rubbed off the tops for some strange reason, it is a little time consuming to do but well worth it in the end :) Hugs Nikki #21
ReplyDeleteI also have Candy to give away HERE!!!
Busy busy busy....hope you're tucked up in bed now after your late night! Helen. 4
ReplyDeleteLovely busy desk there and you are right you should never tidy up - never find a thing! I lost my shrink plastic for ages too but then found it in my dining room cupboard have no idea where it is again now though! Thanks for sharing - Sunshine Girl No. 54
ReplyDeleteI keep my promarkers in exactly the same pots as you and I too am far too short so have the same problem but of course I only have a hand full so it's not a huge problem for me :-)
ReplyDeleteHugs,

Oh my thats a lot of promarkers...Thats one of the reasons i like my copics coz they have the colour on the lid. I know it's a big job but you could stick white dots to the lids and colour them so it make it easier to find the colour you're after!

I think that's the super snoop of the week! Great place to nosey around and lots of creativity going on too.
ReplyDeleteLove Jo x
Wow! I want to come and play! The promarker pots hanging empty and the promarkers sprawled across the desk did make me laugh though. Lots of interesting things at the making stage today. Thanks for sharing. Caro #73
ReplyDeleteHuh! This tidying and messing up again is so frustrating! I have the same problem - with everything in boxes I don't remember where I have stuff so I have to go through all the boxes! What a blow! I understand your problems girl!
ReplyDeleteLots of hugs,
Cardarian
Wow you have a lot of promarkers! Great desk, I love the space to show your current works of art! Please hop by my desk #87 Lauren x
ReplyDeleteI had the same problem iderntifing my promarkers so I punched a 3/8 circle from white steicker paper and stuck it to the end of the cap and colored it with the marker so now I can tell what color I have there when the markers are in the holder. Happy WOYWW Lindsay #16
ReplyDeleteI totally looooove the area you have for taking pictures! That's soooo awesome. I really wish I had a decent crafting space... I'm all crammed up in my laundry room and it's really hard to stay organised in a small space completely filled up to the brim...
ReplyDeleteHi Lyn, I see that you are being very creative. The way that I store my 225 copic markers is by keeping them in a container on a step stool by my desk. Since the numbers are on each end it is easy for me to see what I have and I don't have to keep moving them. This works really well for me.
ReplyDeleteYour desk is amazing, you really have plenty of promarkers, looks like some pretty christmas papers too,

Glad I went doen the Copic route rather than Promakers :) Such a dimple thing to show on the cap which colour. and I am greatly comforted that your desk is a mess. That's how it should be :)

Well you've certainly made up for last week Lyn! Looks like Pro Marker heaven. Tidy is over-rated, especially if you can't find anything again.

I suppose I should have put it together. I've checked out your WOYWW post enough times but for some reason one just didn't click with the other. Thanks for clearing it up for me.

Hello bloggy friend
ReplyDeleteI don't think your desk looks untidy at all - that's what a desk that is being creative and actually crafting, look like. A good rummage does you good now and then!!! Plus, to move things round and forget where you've put it helps you to discover things you forgot you had - bonus... it's like having a parcel delivered or getting something for free... isn't it?
Happy WOYWW - hope you are doing a little better since I was last here - small steps and all that - here if you ever want to 'chat'.
Paula x x x (forgot my number - sorry) (I don;t really know it - I posted and bolted - I'd best go and have a look eh? you're the first one i've visited and it's turned 8.30pm)!!!! :O) xxx
Errmm, exactly how many promarkers do you have?? LOL!!

Very busy, creative looking desk...there are some really pretty images stamped out there!!! Can't want to see those cards.
ReplyDeleteha, ha, you had me laughing at your ARRGGHH and the promarker pots that don't work. i know just what you mean!!! i would feel right at home!
ReplyDeleteSounds as if you are in a right pickle. You must be as you didn't get back to me re my comment last week.
ReplyDeleteCan I suggest you visit my blog last week please?
Hugs, Neet 43 xx
You definitely need to have pens to hand I think. Love those pots. I bought them too but mine are still empty in a corner. Can't find where to put them or what to use them for!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou need a pen holder of some sorts. Hubby made me one out of foamy stuff that cost a couple of pounds. I love it.
Happy WOYWW

Hello!
ReplyDeleteI keep all of my markers in a turntable on my workdesk - with the individual color families together in each little section - and it works great for me! They are right there within reach, I can turn it to the ones I want and I can see them all at a glance and I love it. You can see it on my WOYW posts. Wishing you a happy day!
Hugs,
Barbara Diane
Oh my, ProMarker heaven or what! Elizabeth - later than ever this week - x #75
