Hi Guys!! It's that Quirky time again and it's Diane's turn to set the theme over on the Quirky Crafts Challenge Blog. What with all this lovely sun we've been having, (oops, it'll rain now!) Diane has come up with a real fun Challenge!

For my card I've used the Mermaid. I printed out two, flipped one over to face the other way, coloured them with Promarkers, a bit of white gel pen and added micro fine glitter on her tail. I've then adhered them both to acetate, recycled from a Die-cut packet, this makes the front of the card, so that when the card is open, instead of seeing the back of the mermaid with the bleed-through Promarkers showing, there's another mermaid.
I've used Woodware punches for the leaves , the fish bones and a Westcott punch for the little crab.
The blue swirly paper is by PinkPetticoat. The real shells were pulled off a hanging basket (no longer hanging!) so a bit more recycling! The little fish is my own Fishy Fishy made very very small!
The font is a freebie, it's called Jinky and you can download it here! or just Google the name.
It was a bit hard to photograph as I kept seeing either the light or my thumb reflected in the acetate! (arrggh!)
**This post is a bit late as we had loads going on over the weekend and a surprise visit from my Aunt and uncle, so although it's now Monday, (and the card was finished Monday) this was in draft so I'm leaving it to Post on Sunday.
New Followers! Hi and a big ((wave)) to Mvm-designs some fabulous inky-distressing things going on over there! Then there's Tami but with no link, and Paper Doodle Digital Stamps. Then out the back and in the dark with no links you'll find Carly, Ella Roach and Ewa Nilsson!! Thank you for stopping by!
