Morning! (((wave)) And just as I said last week, and the week before, it's Wednesday...again!! Hubby wants me to make a digi CD and get my Never Ending Story on line... I've been writing it for a million years. (It's not a Novel, it's a obsession!) I have promised him November, he thought I meant last November.. Huh! How can I, when every day is a Wednesday?? What I need a Freeday. Monday, Tuesday, Freeday ....do you think it will catch on?
I'm not here, this is on timer.... and this is my workbench round about midnight last night/this morning. On there this week is.... a box of cheese....no, John's eaten all that. Aw, it's such a nice box I keep some of my die-cuts in it. The rest are in my new Useful Box... AND my new Tim Holtz bird cage die-cut thingy! I just had to have it! I've actually been working on my dining table again this week and it's far too messy to show you (and John's sitting in there in his 'necessaries' at the moment) so I'll just let you imagine what it looks like, (the table that is, not John) as whatever you image, it will look tidier than it really is! (or even scarier)
So?? Fancy joining in with the BIGGEST Blog Hop anywhere?? Nip over to Julia's Stamping Ground and join in with What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday!! But be warned, it's addictive!!
I know I didn't get round that many of you last week, Frog, my cat wasn't well, and by Thursday we had to take her to the vet. Sadly she is now in Kitty heaven. Her Grandmother was a champion Persian, who 'got out' one day and had Frog's mum by an unknown tom! (scandal!!) Frog had six kitten's in her first year, and would've been 19 years old this September. She was named Frog, after Sally Field, who was nick-named Frog in Smoky and The Bandit. She was often called Porker, but she wasn't fat, she just had short legs! She also liked chasing frogs around the pond. I'll miss my little crafty helper.
Hubby has caught the blogging bug and at last has started his blog!! He's putting all his silly stories in there. Many years ago he used to write these true (sort of) but silly stories for the local free paper. Sometimes I'd do a cartoon to go with it. He's called it The Blog Wot I Wrote, because he's a fan of Morecombe and Wise...(you'll have to read his profile!) Nothing there yet, but watch that space!
Last weeks freebie was by far the favourite one ever, so any idea's for next weeks is always welcome! Thanks for stopping by!
Sorry You Missed this one, there's a new freebie on the newest Wednesday post, join in with Spot The Difference and win a digi.

So sorry to hear about Frog. She looks so cute sitting on your desk, and it takes so long to get over the loss of a friend like that. On a happier note, I can imagine your overflow on to your dining table. I did see our table last month - for about 5 hours, then it was covered with everything we have moved out of the plaster dust hole in the living room.
ReplyDeleteLyn I was so sorry to read about your beloved cat, it is not easy to lose such a close pet xxx
ReplyDeleteHave fun with your birdcage die :)
Have a great WOYWW,
Karen #68
So what are you going to do with the birdcage die? I coveted one, bought it and have used it 3 times! Love teh cheese box - I never wuite get round to 'altering' the things I 'upcycle', so would have no problem finding your dies in a cheese box! So sorry about Frog, bless her, you gave her a lovely long life.
ReplyDeleteNo you carnt blame the cat for that mess, but what the heck you always create fabulous things so why if you feel happy in this mess we will let you carry on. with hugs Shirleyxx
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about Frog - lost my Tabs when she was 19 so it is a good age for them but a big hole in your heart nevertheless.

Frog looked exactly like our cat Marvin. So seeing this picture reminded me of him. We had to have him put down about 4 years ago. Our whole neighborhood actually went into mourning as he visited around 7 houses every evening, (and even went inside of some of their houses)for his kitty treats. I will be thinking of you over the next while.
ReplyDeleteThank ewe so much. Just adorable!!!
It is so adorable! Thank you so much!

ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about losing Frog. I dread the thought of losing 'Jinks but, I have been semi-prepared since he was a kitten and diagnosed with a level 3 (out of 4) heart murmur.
ReplyDeleteHe, too is my crafting buddy. Actually more of a hindrance as he prefers to stretch out on whatever I am working on...look up at me with those large honey-colored eyes that say "What?"

ReplyDeleteHi Lyn,
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the passing of your sweet pussy cat! Am only subbing this year to 'ease' back into work mode so I can return to full time teaching next year. Then the stress will begin for sure! LOL! The hope is that the teachers I replace have their day planned so I just go in and teach it! Doesn't always work out this way though!
