It's Wednesday Again! WOYWW? 606

Welcome to my worktop this Wednesday, and then skip over to Julia's Blog, Stamping Ground and join in! I'm in the middle of...umm 'tidying up', after finishing Bro-in-laws birthday card... needed some thing fishy so have been printing out some papers that are on my old laptop but not on my new one. I sorted out a few stamps too so, providing I don't show you the floor, it doesn't look too bad. Just started making another little note card box (I still haven't blogged about the last three yet...but I will... probably. This time I've used some Tim Holtz papers

Here's some of the old freebie papers I printed out, they'd been muddled up with some other fishy papers, so now I have to find where I can file them! Anyone know what issue of #Papercrafts Inspiration had papers called Coastal Charm? No? Thought not. (But you never know!)
This is an old WOYWW picture of my files of freebie Magazine papers dating back to the year before time began, as my camera only took five pictures!! and stopped, saying 'Replace The Batteries', (it didn't actually talk but a little flash came up...) So, moral of this story is... don't used cheap batteries in your camera! That's it for now. It's nearly 3 in the morning, don't want to oversleep as we're going out! A trip in the car, but only to the Hospital though, (large caravan in the car park) a boob check, which probably came up while I wasn't in BlogLand about 5 years ago. So! Night night! See you over on The Stamping Ground later! Stay Safe!

  1. I'm glad I'm not the only one who "extends" their desk space to the floor. Every now and then it gets a tidy up (usually once I start tripping over everything!) Look forward to hopefully seeing your note card boxes.

  2. Your comments about the camera made me laugh - I can remember even further back where you had those flash cubes that you had to stick on the top of the camera and there was only four pics worth of flashes (so to speak!). I’m glad you rediscovered old treasure whilst having a sort out, I hope you use those coastal charm pics, they’re lovely!

  5. Hi there. Hope all has gone well with your hospital check up. So good to see and hear that your desk extends - mine frequently does, too. The floor is just so very useful, isn't it... nothing can fall off it.
    Take care. God bless.

  10. Ah, my floor is now my yarn storage space (the yarn is in a big bag). Under my desks are also turning into storage areas - I really need to move into a mansion lol. Can't help you with the coastal papers, but I see a couple have already posted a link. Tidying/sorting/storage seems to be an occupational hazard of a crafter - it also never seems to be complete! Have a lovely week, Heather xx #18

  12. Lyn, you had me laughing over the floor comment!! I'm sure we are ALL glad that the camera only sees that desk top because the floor is the OBVIOUS place for half the other crap ton that we seem to think we need! LOL My heavens at the freebie magazine papers!! You are set for life!!! I used to do ring binders to keep a lot of my stuff like that, but when I moved...it didn't go with me! LOL I just couldn't take it anymore! I had so much stuff and just had to trim the hedges! LOL Hope you are staying safe and healthy! Felicia #33

  15. Those coastal charm pictures look cute, hope you find a way to use them. I donated all my freebie papers to the craft group at school as I found I wan't using them. Your collection is humungous! Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #3

  16. Oh yes, camera's that 'talked' and I remember even older ones... film rolls in it and 'dark room' to develop the photos (my dad had such a 'dark room' to develop photos, I learned it from him but I guess nobody older than 40 remembers/knows about these things *lol*) I hope your check up at the hospital went well. Stay healthy and safe dear, hug from the Netherlands! Marit #31

  17. My floor is a mixture of small bits of paper and glitter flakes as it does see that ne matter how careful you are some always escape,

Love the way you are keeping all the free papers and you sure have a lot,

Take care and stay safe Lilian B # 7

  18. Hope the check up went ok and the results are good when they come through. Worrying times!
One tidy place I have is the floor. With my bad back I find it easier to travel around on wheels so need the floor space to do so.
Unlike you I have not saved lots of things, used to but then had a clear out and try not to do it again - but my Collage drawer is a bit of a mess right now. Needs attention!
Have a good and safe week.
    Hugs, Neet 17 xx

  20. My floor storage has now got to such a pitch that there's scarcely room for my feet any longer! I need to have a serious blitz in my studio but somehow after I've done everything else that has to be done, I don't have enough energy left to do it! I love your room, and your shelf of files is a brilliant example of good organisation! I hope your boob check went OK and that the results will come up negative. I think I had my last one in 2019 but can't quite remember... I had a CT scan in a large vehicle in a hospital car park once! Amazing mobile technology.

    Happy belated WOYWW,

  21. Well, I’m glad they’re managing to do screening during this lockdown, some things are just too important to want to put off. Hope it wasn’t too uncomfortable. Sorry I’m late. You made me laugh out loud at the question about the magazine, wouldn’t you be amazed if someone could tell you! So that old picture of the files full of freebie papers....does it look very different now, much reduced through use? Trouble is, you keep these things but then it’s easier just to print something off rather than look through them, so there they stay........ask me how I know!

  22. Hi Spyder! You wouldn't want to see my floor either (although you might be able to on my blog this week) my big mess is behind my chair, where I seem to run out of shelf space, and things are piling up on the floor. I like to have things close by, but the problem is so many things I need close by! LOL!I see something that looks like the start of a little book, looking forward to seeing that all finished! Have a great week, sorry to be so late, Lindart #35

  25. Thanks for your return visit, Lyn - yes, the rainbow jumper is super warm! The kitty throw is coming along nicely with a few more squares made. No need to apologise for late visit - I spread mine out over several days because there are too many to deal with all at once!
