It's WOYWW #600!

It's What's On Your Worktop Wednesday #600!!!  😆 SIX HUNDRED WEEKS of Crafting Madness!! Can you believe that!?  Just take a picture of what's on your crafty top, (no naked gnomes please!) and link in with the linky thing over on Stamping Ground and join in!!  Easy! And then come and visit everyone from all over the World!

So...hope you are all well! I'm as happy as a dungbeetle in cowpoo! I have a new Laptop for Christmas... early Christmas pressie! And it's doing weird things to this old steam generated Laptop of mine, they're in sync. Thank you Hubby! xx.

I have been making cards... The Stage Card from last week is nearenough finished and I'll post that sometime soon. Then I had this thing to make a card, which needed acetate. Could I find where I'd put loads of it?! No. As you can see, I had a good look for it... the floor's worse! (Well, it's invisable, isn't it!?) And then this Peek-a-boo card come up on SamCalcott's youtube video on my phone and I just had to make it. There was a lot of swearing coz I couldn't get the measurements right but then, I never can. (My trimmer 'bows') The card opens to show a different picture on the inside so I might video the opening and closing bit later on my next post after the freebie.
(I seem to have lost a picture...) blogger's really in a silly mood today, and won't put my pictures where I want them!  ah! Here it is...

On the shelf you can just make out my WOYWW badge and wooden thingy from way waaaaaaay back!  The wooden Merry Christmas Stag hanger is in the middle of being painted and then glittered (from The Works)
We put up the outside Christmas lights last week, (a few in the road have followed suit) and yesterday the tree is up with its first set of lights...no ornaments yet tho, but, I have my new Laptop to play with! (oh...and the garden waste  green bags to fill ready for Thursday. (We have bags, not bins here, in The New Forest)  So, I guess, that's it from me. See you all in the next few days over on Stamping Ground!  Thanks for stopping by.
Stay Safe!

  4. Now that's my kind of desk, and I so feel for the acetate dilemma - I hope it wasn't in a clear folder, you'll never find it. Love Sam's cards, have seen a fe lately I fancy having a go at but no time (or space on my desk or in my head) to do it yet. Well done on the new laptop, I'm splashing out on a new ipad and hubster is going halves with me. He thinks he might get a look in lol. Happy 600th WOYWW, have a lovely week, stay well, stay safe, Cindy xx #30

  5. Ergh, Lyn, garden bags. What a nuisance! Never thought about how useful the wide opening bin was until Wiltshire changed to them. Well done on the lights and the tree, I’m away off that yet...but if you can be distracted by a new laptop, I might just catch up! New laptop...you won’t recognise the speeds! Have fun with it. Love the opening card, and wonder if, now you don’t want it, have you stumbled across the acetate?!

  7. How wonderful to see you here again, Spyder. I still have your ATCs you made just for me. I also have the badge and holder that Mr. D. made us after the 1st anniversary. I see your desk is still like I remember from before (grin). Happy 600th from #6.

  10. Congrats on the new laptop! I noticed that you have a Stamping Pro, I love that thing. I stopped using my TH platform and I am ordering a second SP just to be on the safe side.

I love your card! I was going to attempt to create one and then decided my brain is too foggy right now. Maybe next week!

  14. Hi Lyn, woohoot shiny new laptop, lucky you! I just realised I haven't given Mr M any hints for what I want for Christmas, mainly because I don't know lol. I love your busy desk, but can fully understand how things may get temporarily misplaced ... I have the same problem! Happy 600th WOYWW and have a lovely week, Heather xx #25

  16. Looks like a busy busy space Spyder, I need a new laptop as this one takes ages to wake up and get going. I dread the thought of having to get all my files transferred and all that kind of stuff.

  21. Isn’t it annoying when the thing you want disappears? There’s a special black hole in my house that eats crochet hooks. It won’t give them back till I’ve bought replacements grr. Such a busy desk, lovely card
    Hope to see you tomorrow

  23. Happy 600th WOYWW. Happy as a Dungbeetle eh! Can’t say I am surprised since you have a new laptop :). Our tree and lights went up a couple of days ago although the tree only got decorated yesterday. My daughter came and did it, she was amazed as I have never let her - or anybody else- touch the tree before. Another concession to poor health! Recycling methods do differ around the U.K. I don’t like the big wheelie bins, but at least the bags don’t get torn open by animals. I have the same problems finding things I have put away! 26. HI Lyn, I had to grin over the measuring as that is something I do not like to do ever. so, most of the time I just wing things but, I do not tend to build fancy folds. ~Stacy #48
