It's What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday,Again!

Good Morning!! It's another WOYWW!! Stayed up to do this weeks freebie and take pictures of my unproductive desk this week, while watching the very last episode of Smallville only to be very disappointed that we only got a glimpse of Clark in his red cape and blue vest but not the underpants over his tights!! How mean was that to chicken out after TEN years waiting for him to fly, and then they add a cartoon of Superman instead!!!!
Anyway!! here's my desk, I'm still clearing out the attic, while hubby's laying down the extra thicker insulation. He's nearly half way now, so that means hardly any crafting done again. Well, actually, none, as I'm sorting through the 'stuff' he's bringing down. It's getting to the point now, where I don't know what to keep and what to throw out. If I see one more cobwebby box I'll.... sccreeeeeam!!
I've been dying to colour in some House Mouse images, but still haven't had time, so I've left them in view, calling to me!! There you go, a very boring desk this week, pop over to Julia's to find some really crafty ones!! Thanks stopping by!!

  3. OMG, we are about 6 seasons behind on watching Smallville, really really need to catch up.

After being teased by you for so long I finally succumbed and bought the Mariposa stack. Of course I haven't used it yet...... LOL

  4. Arrrggghhhhh I missed it I blame the darn students next door and their Halloween party keeping us awake half the night I spent yesterday in a stooper. Broken 40"+ tv in the front yard and a parasol in my back garden yesterday morning.........
Still maybe it is better not to be too disappointed.

  9. It was ever thus - as soon as there's too much other stuff to do -- you wanna be crafting! Mind, the insulation will be worth it. She says encouragingly!

  13. I feel for you over the sorting out... I begin this with the best of intentions too... but then how do you know you won't use something because its perfect for that project further down the line... so I do and the pile never seems to go down!!

  14. When too much comes into my space to sort, the whole system breaks down, and I end up keeping it all! Thanks for sharing your WOYWW and good luck with the purge!

  17. I have a love hate relationship with boxes that emerge from lofts. It is so exciting to rekindle memories and some times its easy to say 'why did I ever keep that' but there comes a point when you really dont know whether you are comming or going ...good luck and keep focused xx

  19. Your comment about Superman reminded me of my hubby's mother towards the end of her life, when she was getting distinctly confused. You have to keep a sense of humour about such things. We used to talk about her doing her Superman act, when she put her pants on outside her trousers lol lol!! Happy WOYWW, Shoshi #67

  20. Having a clearout always seems like a good idea up until you are actually doing it. Feels like it will never end. My sympathies go out to you. Don't know Smallville so I can't sympathise with that problem!

  23. Oh, Lyn, I do feel for you. clearing the attic was one of the jobs we did last year, and it was a nightmare. So much stuff to go through and so much dust. Still, the upside is that we now have NOTHING in our loft. However we also had to clear the larder at the same time, to install a downstairs loo, and i still cannot find a proper home for the vacuum or the carpet shampooer and things like that. The best of luck with all that lot.

I stopped watching Smallville some time ago, as I got as frustrated with it as you sound about the most recent episode, lol!

  28. So glad that the houses here in South Africa do not have attics! I would be the worlds worst hoarder if I had one.
