May The Force Be With You!

I was sooo surprised to have a few emails about my Mr Plod the Policeman cartoon seen on Wednesday's WOYWW post, so I've revamped him and he is now in the store today as a digi stamp! One digi with his background and the other without it.
Jamie was our local 'Bobby' who speeded about town on his police bike, but spent a lot of time in our kitchen drinking coffee!
The card was made, if I remember rightly, for him, when he passed his car driving test!! Inside the card read... "May The Force Be with You!"
Hope you like my new 'oldie'!
Thank you for stopping by!

I've added this digi to the latest Digital Drawing Challenge over on Crafter's Digital Art Center

WOYWW?? No..it's WOMSFC table Instead!

Good Morning What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday!! Can't show you my desk this week, it's manic in my house. We are STILL clearing out the attic and laying thicker insulation... what a job!!! So, instead I'll show you What's On My Sofa, Floor and Coffee table, coz it's tidier than my craft room!! (even though you may not think so!!)
I've been finding boxes and boxes of my doodles from years ago. Before I knew anything about the crafty world of making hand made cards and all the lovely things you could buy, people used to ask me to "make them a card". So I'd draw something, photo copy it, cut it all out and colour it all in (No Promarkers back then) and turn all the bits into cards, and I've still got millions of these in boxes in my attic... time to throw them away!!! (but it's sooo hard!) Mind you, I might revamp some of them!
There's Posters I can't even remember doing, cartoons in mags, which I've saved (a long with the squashed spiders that have squished themselves in between the pages!) {{urghh! shiver!}} as well as my girls birthday cards from the year dot and loads of their paintings, drawings and school work, from play school right up to Uni!
So my living room is covered with piles of ...keep...throw out....don't even look out and charity shop and ebay! (It's not all rubbish!...yes it is!!, yells hubby from the attic hatch....a little muffled as he's wearing one of those masks)
On the coffee table, have to show you, is a bag I designed for a riding shop I used to work for...(back then they had to make plates all etched out to fit into the printer and inked, it was quite a costly thing... and yes, pictures of me my boss took, dressed in the lastest (at the time) riding gear. They were for a magazine advert. Yep...I was thin once!!!
Anyway...this is my What's On My Sofa, Floor, and Coffee table (down the hall and into my craft room) this Wednesday, sorry it's still not 'proper' craftiness.... but hopefully (please!!) I'll be back to crafting ...next week!
If you'd like to join in, and take a look at some fabulous crafty stuff and crafting rooms, just hop over to Julia's Stamping Ground and join in!!! Byeee for now!!

That's A Real Quirky Attitude!

Hi guys, it's that Quirky time again... time for me to climb down from the attic and very quickly make a card, for the new challenge, which has already started (hours ago!!) over on the Quirky Craft's Challenge blog. This time round it's Cazzy's turn to choose the theme...you'll never guess, so I'll tell you! It's...
Attitude!!
Pop over and see what the other GDT and DT have come up with! This challenge we have, not one but two sponsors, which means lovely prizes from Crafty Ribbon and The Stamping Boutique who provided the DT and GDT with some fabulous digital stamps to use!
For my creation, I've used mostly red and black card and Max the Rock 'n' Roll boy printed out about three or four times. I've layered him up a little bit, but not with 3D foam pads or silicone glue, he's just 'flat' (poor boy) so he still pops out a little from the card.
At first I'd coloured his spot light red and then, changed my mind. I wanted to made it yellow but didn't want to print out another image and colour it in again. So, by just cutting out the yellow spotlight (and a bit of his feet) I covered the red... as seen in the picture and that saved having to colour in the whole image again. I've also gone over the yellow Promarker colouring with a yellow glitter gel pen to make it sparkle a little bit. I've used gold, green, red and blue glitter gel pen on his hair and added different colours to his shoes, jeans and guitar too.
So, (stop for tea here) After I cut out the first image, and mounted it onto black card, I added the newly coloured spotlight over the red spot light (as seen in picture) then added another whole image of Max, with out the spotlight (still with me?) I then just added Max's guitar and T shirt. I find it's quite a good way to colour something in, if you're not sure what colours to use, as you can then just pick out your favourites. The guitar in the end turned out to be a little redder than the first one and his hair less blue but more 'glittery'.
The Star paper was a freebie ages and ages ago, I've saved it as FDS, which usually means it may have come from freedigitalscrapbooking.com/ I can't find it over there any longer, but it's still worth a visit as there's loads of freebie papers, and alphabets. The paper I've used on the inside of the card is part of the Ben 10 pack from Craft's Beautiful Magazine Forum. (again ages ago) You will have to 'login' and then paste and copy this addy into the url http://www.crafts-beautiful.com/index.php/download/ben_10_project_pack_-_characters_papers/ otherwise you might not find it!
I've also added star and screw shaped brads (with an added curly bit of wire) and black eyelash wool.
The font on the front of the card is also a freebie, it's called Rock Electric (or just Rock) and you can download it HERE (there's a few other 'Rock' fonts on the same page) and the font inside the card is called Dark Half BTN you can download that HERE
So the card reads... Rock 'n' Roll, one two, one two, one two three four..."Happy Birthday to you.. "etc. Right that's me done....oh well, back into the attic I suppose! See you later! Thanks for stopping by!

Garfield Spot The Difference Answers!

Here they are... the answers to my spot the difference Garfield. Sorry, but no body, (arms, legs and hands included) managed to find all the differences. There were 17 in the end. I've marked both pictures, so you can see. Mostly missed were the extra line on his belt (only one of you got that) the freckles on his cheeks (only one of you got that) and the extra fur line on his face just under his glasses, oh and a flower centre, one of you missed that too. Everything else was found, I think! Hope you had fun, I may have drawn this but don't forget Garfield is the creation of Jim Davis..and of course he draws him sooo much better!! Thanks for stopping by!

It's What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday,Again!

Good Morning!! It's another WOYWW!! Stayed up to do this weeks freebie and take pictures of my unproductive desk this week, while watching the very last episode of Smallville only to be very disappointed that we only got a glimpse of Clark in his red cape and blue vest but not the underpants over his tights!! How mean was that to chicken out after TEN years waiting for him to fly, and then they add a cartoon of Superman instead!!!!
Anyway!! here's my desk, I'm still clearing out the attic, while hubby's laying down the extra thicker insulation. He's nearly half way now, so that means hardly any crafting done again. Well, actually, none, as I'm sorting through the 'stuff' he's bringing down. It's getting to the point now, where I don't know what to keep and what to throw out. If I see one more cobwebby box I'll.... sccreeeeeam!!
I've been dying to colour in some House Mouse images, but still haven't had time, so I've left them in view, calling to me!! There you go, a very boring desk this week, pop over to Julia's to find some really crafty ones!! Thanks stopping by!!
