I'm not really an old dragon....

Aggh! (Or should I say Grrrrrr!) we have soo much stuff! Hubby, (John) calls it rubbish, (only of course he says crap) All the stuff we stored in our old caravan, went into the shed (the studio half haha..) when we sold that on ebay a few months ago...yep, someone paid real money for our old caravan (the type you see them blowing up for fun on the telly) But we now need the shed to store all the 'stuff' that is in the spare bedroom~which is going to be my new craft room~(The garage is already filled to the brim) But the shed, which is really two sheds, one half carpeted, wall paper, tv, etc etc and the other, not carpeted or wall papered, just shed-like and cobwebby and filled with 'stuff' we take to car-boot sales and other garden type 'stuff'. Old motors bikes, tables, chairs...cushions...leaky hose pipes, bean poles, and other boxes of 'stuff'.
Well, some of this has been 'got at' by creatures of the night, so this means there's a load of 'stuff' having to go down the tip... Hubby is now in the attic. He says, this is a good time to get into the attic and move some of that 'stuff' to the tip too. Why do we need old dolls prams? (It's a Silvercross dolls pram, that's why!) Old crash helmets? (they can go) 1975 platform boots (Ohoo did I really wear them?) Old coats from whenever? (I'm sure I never wore them!) A yellow and black fluffy Bee custom, complete with antenna, six arms, wings made from coloured tights and loads of glitter, and a sting sticking out of it's bottom? (yes...I did wear that!) and a dragon's head, made of chicken wire, foam, felt, Papier-mâché, with ping-pong balls for eyes.
Now, okay the bee custom is a bit well...tatty and dusty to say the least, and no, I'm not putting it on! I was never good at sewing..and I don't think I need all the extra padding these days! So that can go...but the dragon's head?! I mean, look at him!! Have you ever seen such a sad old dragon!?! Hubby wants to take him down the tip ...I want to keep him. (Remember he's been in the attic since my eldest was at primary school!)
So, I'm putting it to the vote. Dump him or keep him????? It's up to you!!
There's a little voting thingy on the side bar!

WOYWW? Just About Everything!

Okay, so I didn't tidy this week in time for What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday! (I made all this mess just making two cards) but good news, we, that's the royal we, spent most of last night clearing out the spare bedroom, wrapping up the double bed in sheets of plastic, as it won't go through the attic hatch and generally moving one lot of 'stuff' to where another load of 'stuff' had been moved from to make way for the second lot of 'stuff'.
I was doodling on the laptop/wacom, (well, I did say the royal we) when hubby yelled, "Hey there's a mouse under this bed!" "Oh no!" sez me, and runs into see, "Is it dead, it is squished?" wondering why it hadn't stunk the house out, thinking it must have been there since Tom and Emma brought their two cats over to stay for a week, months ago... "No... just a bit hairy..!" and Threw it at me!! (aghh!!) It was a toy mouse... (I'm not saying what I did next)
So, here's my messy place this week... (but not for long!) ...to the left...

to the right... jump and and down and ... (no, I'm not going to start singing Agadoo!... didn't people have big heads back then?! ) Anyway... I'm what is known as a 'push back and squeeze in wherever you can get' crafter. Hopefully, I'll have a bit more room in my 'new' crafty space by the end of the week or not. Son-in-law Tom has already suggested we just knock the two rooms together! Now, there's an idea!
Ready to come and join in?? Just hop over to the Queen of all blog hops, Julia and her Stamping Ground and show us yours! (turn off the Agadoo music now...)

***Just wanted to add, anyone listening to Radio Solent in the New Forest Area today, very proud to mention Sister-in-law, Hubby's Sister Deb, is up for An Award as Best Pub Landlady This is her second Award in as many months, and will be on their news! **

Spot The Difference #9 & Wednesday Freebie

Sorry you missed this one.... for answers scroll up!
Here we go again... Spot The Difference and Wednesday Freebie...
This is 'Door Stop Bunny'... mainly because he's filled with sand and is a door stop! He sits on my floor, by the door and stops it closing... clever bunny! He's not quite the same as The Real Door Stop bunny, because he has a lettuce instead of a carrot in his bag, and has bee's on his belly as well as trees... but I run out of room!
16 differences... (I think!) Answers here (comments are off, the ones you see are the ones I have added later) or by email, dragonsmoore at googlemail dot com. Winner wins a digi from my little digi store. Dragonsmoore, Spyder's Other Corner. Answers Next Tuesday! Scroll UP for WOYWW! Please leave a comment, and I'd love to see anything you make using Door Stop Bunny...or perhaps a better name?! Thank you for stopping by!!

That'll each me to play around with the picture after I've posted it! So there were 16 differences. Here's the right picture with the right answers (I've already done the wrong picture with the wrong answers! (that'll teach me to smirk!) This is when I wish Blogger had an 'undo' button!

My 'Mum's Card' made By Emma

Emma said she nearly bought me a Mother's Day card, but knew she'd never hear the end of it! She likes to make simple cards and always feels she should 'put more on.' No, I said, I love it as it is. The little wired embellishment fascinated me, as she made it herself out of jewellery wire, tiny beads and punched out flowers. Simples!

Forever Friends...Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day every one! (this side of the pond) This is the first time ever that I have made two cards for the Mother's that are totally different. So now I'm wondering, which one is for which Mum! Anyway, which ever Mum gets which ever card I'm sure they'll love the chocies that go with them! Yes, last weeks Mother's Day Easel card/ box is now filled with chocolates rather than the brownies that Hubby made last weekend. There was no way they were going to last all week!! Course, they would've gone stale, wouldn't they? I mean, I couldn't let that happen!
This card has been covered with Pink Petticoat Vintage Rose Papers (so at least that's the same!) Stickles Glitter, ribbon, (The same but darker pink than the other card) gems, die cut corners and a Forever Friends Decoupaged Bear. I'm sure I've used this one before, but that's the beauty of making your own cards, they can never look exactly the same, no matter what! (well, not when I make them they don't!)
The sentiment I did on the computer, cut out with Woodware and **Crafts-too punches. The Font is a freebie, it's called Amazone BT and you can download it HERE
The inside of the card (pink) also has some Forever Friend stickers of the same bear holding his flowers.
This Card will probably go to John's Mum, as she has said, no flowers!! So, it's a way of giving them without her having to worry where to put them, apart from on her mantelpiece! Thank you for stopping by!
(**very hard to use 'up side down' so you can see the writing)

A Mousey Sketch

House Mouse have a sketch this week. I thought I was sooo late posting this that it was almost time for the next challenge, but luckily for me, there's still another week! As usual I got waylaid with other things and forgot all about these poor little mices sitting in draft. So, a quick change in the wording and the date and here it is! (Tip: don't forget to change the date if you leave something in draft as it will post on the day you saved it... and then you'll wonder where it is!! just like I just did!! )
I like sketches and I love House Mouse so the two kinda go together! Very apt as this is Sue's (Scoopys Stuff) sketch and the image I've used this one I won from Sue sometime ago.
It's a little different to the sketch as my image was a little bigger than the image space, but the thought was there!
I've used Pink Petticoat Papers throughout and Promakers to colour. I've also made it as an easel card so there's a bit more added to the bottom part of the card.
The sentiment was done on the computer. The Font is a freebie, I have linked it before, but in case you missed it, it's called DayDream and you can download it HERE (There are some sites who want payment, but not there) If you fill in your email, you'll be sent a free font everyday! The lower sentiment is fixed to a folded piece of card so it will fold down when closed.
I did have a few other challenges in mind but I think some of them maybe over now. So I'll sort them out and add them later.

Toad Birthday Cake

Happy April the First! Here's a very quick card, image by Mo Manning, of course. Papers were freebies, and if I can find where they are, I'll add a link later! ** Up date: Cake papers came from Craft's Beautiful, (Feb/March 2008) try this link or go HERE, and scroll down through the other freebie papers they have. You may have to 'login'.
Meanwhile, here's the link to the freebie font which is called Linda's Lament The card isn't actually finished I really want to add more things to it.
I was a bit disappointed with my new printer as the ink smudged when I used my Promarkers to colour, hence her neck and arms were coloured the same as the dress... or maybe that is the dress!! Nope, I've coloured her arms and neck in magenta. (maybe it'll catch on) Actually, seeing I've stuck one image over another, I could peel it off and start again! I'm not liking her like that! Anyway, Happy 1st April, best joke I've seen this morning (On Telly) was the Government wanted to Tax air... more if you live in the country, because it's cleaner!! Slightly less in cities, because of traffic pollution. Farmers of course are saying that Country air is polluted by Cow farts and therefore should be a lot cheaper! Back later...to add some challenges.
