Hoppy Birthday

It's Friday!! And that means it's Bugaboo Freebie Day! Yay!!! It's been a real AAARRRRGH!!! week this week. But at least tomorrow's Saturday! (Just for those of you who may've forgotten) Quite busy this weekend. Chicken and Cat sitting, yes, at the same time. (I can multi-task) So, Mr Blogger, (Bless him) will be putting my weekend DT cards on via his little timer.

Just found these pretty papers as I was tidying up. (Tidying up??!!) So thought I'd do The Midnight Madness easy sketch, very simple, nothing much to it at all. Although I have added a wee bit more, tiny gems, sentiment, the lacy bit down the middle and the corners. Also done some 3D-ing and coloured little Hoppety, which is one of my little digi's, with Promakers. The Font is a freebie. It's called DayDream, there are some sites that will charge you $19 for it! but it is a freebie and you can download it here. The papers are an A5 pack by Papermania called Blueberry Hill. Well, there you go...that's about the shortest post I've ever done...I'll see if I can do an even shorter one over the weekend...(grin) Have a Crafty one!

WOYWW, a crafty peek

This, I promise, will be very short and quick, (for me) so, don't blink, or you'll miss it!! This is my Work Desk this Wednesday, (well, Tuesday night) for What's On Yor Work Desk Wednesday, started by the Queen Of Wednesdayness. Julia. It's a lot tidier than the muddled pictures I showed you last week. But I suppose, still a lot messier than most.
Freebie this week is there, Nosy Rosy Posy the 'Jack in the box clown' (sorry to those who hate clowns and dislike Jack in the boxes) I used to be a Clown and dress up in all the gear, no not for any strange pervertedness, or addiction to the smell of spirit gum or grease paint but to paint faces at parties. (You can imagine, me...in full clown makeup zooming down the motorway to my next 'gig'...the traffic would sometimes come to a slow crawl, the number of adults who would wave and point! ' oh look, you're a clown' (as if I hadn't noticed) I found it very surprising how many children told me I wasn't a 'real' clown, as I had 'skin' (which, the little darlings would pinch, just to check!) On my desk you can see... the new punch I won, (a long with loads of other goodies from Quick Cards made Easy, Readers Page 'Your Crafty Space' (Lou was there with her see-through desk too and so was Caro) and there's also a sneak peak of my next Quirky DT Card along with a cold up of tea...ohoo and Nuttella on toast (yum) and my new digi Westie, which will be in the Digi store a soon as I can wake John up!! It's eleven o'clock, (last night) so I doubt very much he will do it now. I'll have to learn how to use Photo shop, but my excuse now is, it's not on my computer!
So, if you find snooping around over a hundred blogs, is the best thing since sliced cheese or, have nothing to do all day but cut your toe nails, pop over and meet some really fascinating and very crafty...umm, people!

101 years old & Winnie Wanted A Westie

Just over a year ago mum asked me to make a 100 today birthday card for a dear friend, Winnie. I think I blogged about what was going on a hundred years ago last year, and, one year on, Winnie is 101 years young today! Of course, mum came round yesterday to see if I'd made her card and I said, "Ummm....isn't that next week?" Same story as last year. Last year I made a Forever Friends card (which won me my first two prizes!!) but this year mum had asked me to do a, 'not too fancy, simple card' but with a Westie dog on the front as Winnie used to have one many years ago called Sally. Easy. (Not)

Since my 'crooked' finger accident I've steered clear of 'real' drawings, and gone for cartoons, it doesn't matter too much if they go 'wonky'. They're supposed to be like that, right? I'm still doing a greyhound for Shell, but it keeps ending up with googley eyes, big feet and a rather long tongue! So, last night me and my crooked finger were determined to draw a little Westie and I think it's turned out not too bad. I'm quite pleased with it, and Sally will definitely be going into my Digi Store later today (soon as John gets home as he likes doing all that spiderwebby stuff)

I've used Pink Petticoat papers in duck egg blue on a pink pearl card, Martha Stewart punches (Woodware punches inside) and lots of Stickles glitter, oh and my new Distress Ink , tumble glass, for the shading behind Sally and edged the backing paper with it too.
The font is a freebie, mine is called Round Hand DB. I've found Signet Round Hand, which looks the same and you can download it HERE

No sneak peak this week, now that One Stitch At A Time has loads of new Design Team members I can have a Sunday off! It's the B team's turn this week! Tiny Little Inchies!

Another teeny weeny swap going on over on the CardMaking and PaperCraft forum. I did a couple or three, no four, teddies and Cats on real Inchie chip board no less! and added another one called 'Autumn' which I can never spell, because I can't see why it needs an N at the end. I have a little ditty to help me to remember how to spell it...don't laugh...I was about 7 when I made it up...Ache Under TUM Nasty. (or Auntie's Umbrella Turns Up My Nose) So I did ...autum... and then the N has 'fallen' off...(get it? fall? Autumn!? well, I thought it was clever) this one I did ages ago on ordinary card, but lost, it was probably part of this set here and suddenly appeared. Well, I'm not sure when it appeared. I just spotted it one day in one of my WOYWW photo's. As I've said before, things in my house just disappear into another time and dimension and turn up again as if they've never been away!

Bearly A Few ATC's

Oh my, Where has the year gone!! July already. I posted a few pictures of some ATC's the other day for a Teddies or/and Texture swap, which I do over on CardMaking and PaperCraft Forum, for the June swap. They've all gone off now to their new homes and luckily I found Piglets today in the place I put them all the time. I swear some things fall into dimensional space, only to suddenly reappear days, weeks or even years later and that's why we can't find them!
