Wobbly Oooowl! Freebie

Well, it's Friday the 13th and so far, nothing too dramatic has happened... yet! I thought I'd add a friday freebie...although it's not 'new' as I haven't got my printer with me. It's an oldie that's been changed a bit. Originally it got over 600 downloads....back in the 'old' days, now I'd be lucky if it got 6. Sorry it's a wobbley, my Wacom is very old and jumps about a lot! Just Click and Save. Off home tomorrow, very early so I'm packing up now. First thing in the morning I'm picking up Lola to stay til Sunday.

That's it for now...hopefully I'll 'see' you all soon. Thanks for stopping by!

A Birthday Card for Just for Josh.

My neighbour's nephew will be 18 in March, so I've made a card for Josh. I was told he liked cars and golf.  I started last month and have only just finished it last week...good job I started early! I've used one of my favourite card folds, and used a paper from my stash with cars, which I printed on photo paper. Then hunted out some free golf papers that came from Papercraft Inspirations magazine many years ago...

There's also a hiden magnet to close the card. Sorry about the bad pictures. I forgot to take any photo's and the sun was shinning in so brightly the first few were too shiney to see. (Note too, I was crafting on my ironing board .
I also added cogs and wheels die cuts and acetate to help support the opened card and add the Happy Birthday and his name Josh.
The inside has a space to add a sentiment or even a number. There's also a hiden pocket to hide a gift card or money.  Hope he likes it, my neighbour did! Thank you for stopping by!

WOYWWednesday! #871 Another Receipts Master Board

Morning! Happy Wednesday peoples. Here's my WOYWW island in the kitchen where I'm still House/Dog sitting. So much for me promising birthday cards and even a freebie last week. Sorry, things got a little bit hectic here for a few days! Tyres getting punctured, twice in two days, because of our very pot-holely roads (Not mine luckily!) Then poor Bronte woke up limping. It wasn't her paw, maybe a pulled muscle. (which it was)Trying to get permission from her owner in Spain back to the vets, for me to take her to the vets, took all day! Anyway, once that got sorted, off we went to the vets. She's been given medication. (the only way she would take it is with chicken and rice for their evening meal. (Remi got rice and chicken too!) Then, me and the dogs, Remi and Bronte, nipped upstairs to another appartment, to sit with Annie and Max the dog, while her hubby was getting and fixing his tyres.

Having cups of tea with Annie and Max
The next day poor Annie fell and an ambulance was called and yesterday I walked Max around the garden (It's a very large garden) with the girls looking very puzzled and barking, from the sunroom. Today, Annie should be home from hospital. Above is Max. He knows I have treats in my bag.

Back to the crafting, which I have managed to do....using till recepts, plus a parking ticket (I've done this before) I'd grabbed a 12x12 paper pad from home, containing mostly papers I probably would never use, so I can scan them in once I'm home, and use them to make other 'things'... I noticed the dates on some of these tickets go back to 2013/14! I really must have a throw out when I get home!
I'll tidy it up a bit later and save it as an A4 or- take it to the stationers and have them print/scan it full size...then all the lumps and folded bits are flat and smooth. Like the one below.

Tomorrow I'm nipping out to walk Dexter, and on Saturday, Lola's coming for the weekend. (I have retired, honest!) I'll be home then, and will start on the 'clearing things out'.

Above, carrying on from last week, I have made some more Christmas Tags. Sorry not to get around to all of you last week, will try harder this week. Have a great day. Coming up next is a birthday card  for Josh that I promised ages ago I'd post when it was finished. Happy WOYWW! Pop over to Sarah's Crafty Shed and join in. Thank you for stopping by!

WOYWW #870 Just in Time! For Next Years Xmas Tags!

I've been trying to make a post for WOYWW for weeks now. (Pop over to Sarahs Craft Shed and join in!) I took loads of pictures but, as usual,  never found time, the days and weeks came and went...Still, I'm here now... in the Sun Room, as I'm House/dog sitting again. It's pitch black outside and the dogs are snoozing...unless the fox or some deer turn up, then it's 'Let's bark as loud as we can! Coz we want to go out and chase them!

'I have sort of been crafting. These pictures were taken on the kitchen counter. The lady of the house left me all her Christmas cards....so I've been die cutting them up into tags and tabs. Some of them aren't half bad, even if I do say so myself!

At the moment these two are my favourites...but I've still got loads more to do.  Will later put some ties on them too, then box them away, and by next Christmas, I'll forget where I put them!

Above and below are some three fold tags
And then this pocket tag with more tags. It's got paperclips on it as I forgot to bring some glue to stick the backing on...

And then a group of them....I could keep going, but you've probably fallen a sleep by now- as its getting late! Sorry about the state of the pictures, the lighting bouces off of them! So! Hope you all had a great Whats On Your Worktop Wednesday...Tomorrow, I'll tell you a
ll about what happened over the last weekend and then show you two birthday cards I managed to finish... Thank you for stopping by!

Ohoo, ps, I found my wacom pen! So might also do a freebie

Another Gnomey Christmas Card!

I'm on a roll....I mean, not a ham roll, but my chair, it's nice and 'rollie' (At home there's no room for my chair to go anywhere as there's too much stuff crammed against the wheels! New Year? I'm getting it tidied up!! (at some point, maybe!) Well, let's get to the 'point', here's another Gnomey (a Santa Gnome) decoupaged Christmas Card. This went to the lady who lives where I'm staying. (She said she liked it so much she was going to take it with her) Where's she going? There's a clue on the card! To see the Northern Lights! Fabulous! I've still not found the Christmas cards I made last year.... but now thinking about it, I might've posted them! As I said, somewhere, I'm still house sitting, and Bronte, one of the dogs it up here with me (upstairs in their office as the internet is soooo much better) I've got the telly on and every time a dog, or other animal appears on the very large screen she barks at it!  Grrrr! She must think they're monster dogs, as they're so big!

I'm going to lookout for any Christmasy Challenges. It used to be so much easier to join in with them but I think a lot of them have closed down..Happy New Year (again!) can't say that too many times!! Thank you for stopping by!
