I have been walking dogs all this time. Never in a million years did I realise just how much time and engery that was going to take! But I did love it and at that time, the best thing I could've done neverthe lest, I was sad to give it up, so, at last I have retired. Hung up my dog leads, pulled the signs off the old van; the new van never actually had them put on. Closed the Web Site, but am keeping the Doggy Facebook page open for now.
Anyway, I'm not here to talk about that! No! It's craftiness I'm back into now! (Yes. You said that last time when you were here in... February!) Well, it's taken quite a long time to get all my crafty stuff down from the attic and fit it all back into the smallest room in the house. Most of it has spilt out into the hall... the kitchen... living room... bedroom... oh yes....not forgetting the bathroom. And then there was lockdown. I spent ages sorted everything out... wouldn't think that now looking at my muddled mess... So, I'll show you my 'new' desk top... as it's the tidiest bit. Behind the camera is total mayhem. There's a few odd things I've been doing there. When you've finished here you can pop over to https://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/ and join in! (Sorry....can't find the link button)
This last pic is of my old craft room.... Um....there's a few thigs there I still haven't found!P. S. Blogger has changed too....where is the link button? (Or have I just forgotten how to do it? ohooo I think I may have found it!) And where's the little button that squares up all the text and where's the flipping spell check gone? I'm having to ask my phone....it's very good....it can smell better than I ever could! I mean spell!
Bye for now. I'll pop by later to visit you all!
Good to see you back. The link button on the new blogger is just to the left of the add photo button (looks like a chain). Hope you manage to fit everything in to your craft room eventually. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #4
ReplyDeleteThank you Sarah, I found it! As soon as I spotted it I remebered what it was! Thank you for popping over
Delete((Lyn))
LOL! ME TOO! I've only been back a few weeks as well and it is really an effort (worthwhile) to get into the swing of things. And just like you I feel less confident about things than I did. But hey, we shall soldier on, and it will all come good int he end - in crafting and in life, I hope.
ReplyDeleteYeah and what is it with spell check? Wordpress used to have it, now it is gone, unless you pay for your blog and get a spell check plug in. Annoying. I just learned t not be bothered by it. I know I can't spell on a good day so I just type on and assume what I mean will become clear LOL! If something really does not makes sense, shift a letter left or right on the keyboard and I bet it does. DOH!
Happy WOYWW!

My old compter/laptop is very good, but slow. I think it guesses what I mean and corrects it for me... sometimes! Thank you for popping by!
DeleteWow, your craft room looks like a treasure cove! Hope you'll get some time and inspiration to play soon! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #9
ReplyDeleteThank you Zsuzsa....I keep having false starts but I'm really determined this time!
DeleteHi there. Good to see you. yes, it does seem a long time since I remember coming into Spyder's corner. but then, I was MIA all of February! Sounds like Sarah is good at helping out with your questions - I would be absolutely no use at all! Enjoy being back in your space - and hope you find everything.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

Well...I have been away years....part for the odd post here nd there. My next job is to work out where my blog background has gone and to check links, a lot of them no longer work Thank you for popping by. ((Lyn))
DeleteLyn! How lovely to see you back on WOYWW again, sounds like you’ve been crazy busy doing the dog walking etc etc and I’m glad you’re not covered in cobwebs, lol! I don’t know about you but I’ve never been busier than since I retired though lockdown has taught me the benefits of stepping back and not saying yes to everything.... Hope you have fun now your craft stuff is back in action - I’m intrigued about the bathroom though!

Great to see you back. It is a joy to read your blog and fun stories. Look forward to seeing what you are making. Elaine
ReplyDeleteOoooh - Welcome Back! I'm an infrequent blogger too, as you will see, and there's not a lot of card making going on. I lost my mojo... but I'm working on it! Looking forward to finding it and dusting it off...
ReplyDeleteLovely to read your blog. I’m just recently back after a while away, too. It’s a joy to come back again, isn’t it!
ReplyDeleteTake care, stay safe and happy WOYWW

How fab to see you! happy retirement gal, I bet as the rain falls so relentlessly this week, you don’t miss the walks on days like this. So great to see you unpacking, everything must feel very exciting. I must say that I’m a bit head in the sand about lots of the new stuff, and the massive amounts of advertising - interesting that’s something you noticed so soon. LOs will you get back to your digi stamps or are you just planning to ease in and see how it feels?! Great to see you Lyn.
ReplyDeleteHey stranger . Great post today glad you got blogger to work. Helen #1
ReplyDeleteSo far so good...only the back ground blackness to my blog has gone...but I was thinking maybe its time for a change anyway!
DeleteHi Spyder, lovely to see you again. This new Blogger is a bit different, I agree, I think we've all had some issues with it.I do think it would have been better if they'd issued the updates a few at a time, rather than all at once, we'd have had time to get our heads around them then. I have discovered that if you click on a pic you've added, you get the 'justify' options appear, and little blocks on the image to adjust the size. Lots of great pics of your creative space. Stay safe, have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #3 X
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm fairly new to WOYWW ~ Your room looks pretty well set up now it's time to play! Enjoy crafting and blogging again ~ love, Karen#22
ReplyDeleteYou're right...and I have done a few thngs but...it's like my head is full of all things I should've be doing if I hadn't been away and I cant make up my mind what to do first! Thank you for popping by. See you again soon!
DeleteWelcome back! I love you desk - everything is within reach! I am a very visual person, I need to see my stuff or I forget I have it! It took awhile to get used to the new Blogger, I swear they have people there who's job it is to make things more DIIFICULT! The photos section doesn't keep uploaded photos anymore, I have to keep uploading them one at a time if I want them in a certain order. Grr. So I empathize with you and hope you can figure out all the bugs! Have a great eek, Lindart #28
ReplyDeleteI've noticed that some of my photos and gone! Little black boxes is all that's left. That's another job...go see if I still have those pictures and replace them!
DeleteHi there nice to see you. The Spell checker disappeared before the new blogger started but don't know why as it was quite useful. I hated it to begin with but getting used to it now just have to watch out for the thing that looks like a pencil on the far left. If you press that by mistake everything turns to code so watch out for it. Have a lovely creative woyww, Angela x18x
ReplyDeleteYep blogger has certainly changed! I'm a come back Queen too but the last 9 weeks was due to surgery the previous two years another matter entirely! Enjoy
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW #BJ
Hi Lyn, Welcome back! I have missed you. Edwina Brown
ReplyDeleteHi Edwina I hope you're well! Your crafting has improved so much! Will pop over later and leave a comment!
Delete((Lyn))
This version of Blogger dies take some getting used to doesn't it! I absolutely hated it at first, it seemed so user unfriendly! I am gradually getting my head around it but it keeps on surprising me with odd things!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly have a lot of 'stuff'... oh for a rummage through that lot!Looks interesting!
Take care and stay safe

I've been terrible this lockdown as both my subscibed crafty mags stopped and gone forever, so now, I'm going a little bit mad buying mags, its becoming an obsession! Blogger's also lost my background to my blog. Maybe I should make my own.
DeleteNice to see you. Are you still designing digital stamps? I spent a lot of time reading yesterday - Warrior Cats, the last book, oh it was good! Have a great week Angela #26
ReplyDeletewell, yes I do intend to start drawing again..when I can remember how to use my wacom and connect it to my laptop! The didi shop is still there and people still pop in and buy but i never got around to adding an automatic download thingy, but I will...one day!
DeleteNice to see you back - and in time for the crop for the 600th edition (read about it on Julia's blog). Spelling is not my weakness but typos are - I just cannot do with a flat keyboard so have endless typos.
ReplyDeleteAs for Blogger, well, at first I was fine and suddenly it sent pear shaped on me and now, as you saw, my biggest grudge is full justification - what you like - straight edges both left and right.
Go to the three dots to the right of where the link (chain) sign is and you get a drop down menu, click on the left one and it allows you to choose. Works great but when i include a photo in the centre of my page it sends my writing centred - and i hate it!
Good luck with Blogger - I'll give it a bit longer and then I am off but where to I have not a clue.
Hugs, Neet xx
The 600th edition! I'd feel a fraud! We have been using zoom over the lock down for silly things like quizes or just having a chat. This laptop wouldn't be able to cope so I'd have to set up in hubby's Man Cave!! But could be fun!
DeleteSo happy to see you back! It's just like riding a bike; you'll get back into the zone. My room is a wreck right now. Looking forward to seeing your future creations and reading your blog! :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't riden a bike for ages either! Little steps I think! Thank you for stopping by!
DeleteGreat to see you back again. You missed most of the issues with the new blogger. There was a point where you just worked out what was happening and they tweaked it again and you had to figure it out again. I'm not whingeing at it anywhere near as much so I must be getting used to it. I look forward to seeing what projects you are working on.
ReplyDeleteHi Spyder, welcome back, long time no see! Your craft room looks a bit like mine at the moment - total chaos lol! I keep telling myself I'll tidy it... one day.
ReplyDeleteI abandoned blogger last year after they managed to delete 8 years' worth of photos. I'm really glad I got out while I could and migrated to Wordpress, given all the hassle everyone is suffering at the moment with the revamped version of blogger - that platform is a total pain!
Happy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi #14
Thank you for your visit - so glad you enjoyed it! Our kitties are rather adorable, aren't they!

Loved reading your post! Love the pics of your desk too.
ReplyDeleteSorry I am late visiting…. Happy WOYWW!

Calling All Crafters! – My Blog!
Loved your post! Well your desk looks full of gret goodies and ready to create. Yes, blogger has changed but like everything else, we’ll get used to it. Thanks for your earlier visit. Sorry i’m So late with mine. Dorlene #31
ReplyDeleteI thought I'd left a comment the other day, but I can't find it! Never mind, I'll try again. It is so good to see you back on WOYWW again! The dog walking sounds as if it was fun. One of our neighbours does it and she enjoys it. Your old craft room looks as chaotic as mine - one day I will tidy it, I keep telling myself! I am glad I abandoned Blogger 18 months ago in favour of Wordpress, after the final straw when Blogger managed to delete 8 years' worth of photos off my blog! Now they've changed it and everybody is complaining about it so I'm glad I'm out of it.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi #14
You did! it's me forgetting, and then trying to find...how or where the comment thingy is. My brain (sometimes called brian, because I can't spell) keeps for getting how to do things! Yes, I did love the dog walking, I also looked after loads of other animals and house sat too. Yes, I'm missing photos too...hubby seems to think thay may've been saved somewher else where blogger took them from and then, when I (maybe) deleted that or it got closed from lack of use) the same pictures on the blog got deleted too...I will try and replace some of mine...but that's another job!
DeleteOoooh WoW ! Great craft room - I would love to have a good old browse around in there :-D x
