I surprise, or maybe that should be scare myself sometimes, 'specially when I (look in the mirror..?) No, manage to get a card finished!
It's been soooo wet this week, Hubby has Man Flu, I've had another one of those scans, well it's been a year, fingers crossed I'm not back in Hospital like last Christmas Eve. We also have dogs staying and they all got very muddy! ... then the tumble drier broke down, (Not that we use it to dry the dogs!) Luckily, even with man flu, hubby mended it! but then spilt his red wine all over my papers! Never mind.
So, to cover myself, just in case I haven't finished my card....(I'm typing this before I've finished it..) I might add a little thing I made last year to either hang on the tree, or act as table place names using a Bugaboo digi image.
Anyway, the challenge is easy! Any Thing Christmas.

Right. Here's my card for this weeks reminder. (It's finished!) I've gone blue. (well, it has suddenly got cold!)
This time I've used Mixie from That Crafty Place. I printed her out a couple of times after I changed her to a PNG, then scanned in a bit of the blue snowflake paper and placed her over the top of it (Saves colouring in the back ground). I've mounted all the backing papers on silver mirri card, added matching Stick-on Ribbons, tiny cardboard letters, loads of Stickles Glitter, white eye-lash wool, peel-offs, and tiny gems.
All the papers, ribbons and those little round diecut letters come from a set called Winter Wonderland by TrimCraft/Dovecraft. (There's also tags and tiny shaker toppers too, but I've had them for years so they might not be that easy to find now but look out for their new Winter Wonderland designs. (Must get me some!)
I've also added some peel-off stars and snowflakes. (I've cheated a bit, where you can only see half a snowflake, I've cut it in half. (No one will know!) and it does mean, if you only have two and you want four... (obviously you only get to see half but it does save a few crafty pennies)
I decided to only use a few different ProMarker blues to colour my fairy, then added the Stickles to give her loads of Christmas sparkle, I've also 3D-ed the frilly bit of her dress so it pops out a bit.
Hoping to join in with some challenges; every week I think this but by the time I find a spare hour, I've usually fallen asleep! That's it I think! Thanks for stopping by!! Always lovely to hear from you!
