Yes! There's a Cupboard Challenge going on over on The Quirky Craft's Challenge Blog. It's Cazzy's turn to set the theme and she wants to see cupboards, shelves or dressers, and they can't be empty - what's in your cupboard? We're sponsored by Crackerbox Palace and they have supplied the team with some lovely images to work with and the winners of our challlnges some lovely stamps!
Here's my card. I decided to do a bit more than 3D my image, and tried to create a crafty cupboard.
I've even added 3D drawers so I could put things 'inside' them. I've also cut through the card so you get a little peep of what's inside....ah, you've guessed.... another cupboard!
I've added a brad spoon, a key and scissors and a few tiny bits from my stash. The backing paper is by PinkPetticoat as I thought it made good 'wall paper'.
Every thing's coloured with ProMarkers. The pots and boxes on the chest inside the card also come from our sponsors.
I've also used a little bit of that Core'dinations, ColorCore cardstock and roughed it up with sand paper. I did have a bow in the corner, but that was changed to some tiny flowers instead. The little green stars are plastic, the tiny flower 'handles' are from a roll of ribbon.
I've put the drawers on a bit wonky, like mine... so full of crafty stuff they don't shut properly.
The sentiment on the front also comes from Crackerbox Palace.
Inside I made a 'picture' sentiment using a freebie font, which you can download HERE. It's called Tempus Sans ITC.
Also, those of you with eagle eyes might spot the 'paper' fixed to the door on the inside dresser... it has tiny fish on it, this is also from our sponsor.... left over from This card, which I made a while back!
To hide the cut edges of the 'hole' I've framed it with a bit of left over dresser.
I've had a lovely day today spending time with family in the very warm and sunny garden! (I just hope that's not our 'summer' gone now!) Lovely chocolate birthday cake, flowers, chocolates, a hand made lavender heart hanger, the DVD Gravity, new walking boots from hubby and a rare visit from my brother! Plus birthday money but I had to promise not to but 'glue' with it! That's it I think! Thank you for stopping by!! Hoping to add this to some...

Filling the drawers too was a great idea, I wish I had thought of what I could put in the drawers - I can now it is too late!
