My goodness, where have I been? No blogging since Wednesday!? I know! but it's been
wet! Luckily the dogs didn't mind (although their owners hate it!)and we still had fun.... even though one was so full of joy it rolled in some poo.... a little white dog...in a big pile of poo. I'll say no more on that! And, I never did get round to finishing off those fish for last weeks Quirky Challenge, seen in Wednesday's post. I suddenly realised I hadn't printed out enough fish the wrong way round to do that 'thing' I've done before with acetate. Never mind, because there's a new challenge starting over on the
Quirky Challenge. So get over there! It's Cazzy's turn to set the theme and she has chosen...
Baby It's Cold Out Side...
but, with a twist! She wants to see....projects about the colder months of the year, so think snow, ice, Autumn or Winter, and they must include a hot
drink or two! (maybe even with a snifter of brandy!)
Here's my card. I've used this super cute snowman from our sponsors called Snowman Cocoa
and of course I've coloured him with my Promarkers and 3D-ed him by chopping off his arm and his body as well as his head! Even the mug had its handle hacked off!
The
blue snowy paper
is mine own, the backing papers were freebies from a magazine. They're called
GingerBread Lane by Jennifer Ellory. There was also die-cuts and stickers. (yay!) And if you'd like some more freebies by Jennifer go
HERE to PaperCrafts Inspiration Magazine Website and also
HERE! (you may have to login) Go to their Face Book page and join in to win a fabulous prize.
To celebrate reaching 20,000 likes on

papercraft goodies to one lucky winner! Go HERE
I love hot chocolate with either a spoonful of
Nutella or a Cadbury's flake (or both!) but this snowman's adding Marshmallows! What do you like to add? Brandy? Whisky? Lashings of cream and sprinkles?
I've added gems, heart brads, stars, Stickles Glitter, White Gell pen, Snowflakes peel offs on acetate, beads on a wire plus a real red pompom to his Santa hat. Inside I've left it
blank but have done a bit of dry embossing!
The font is a freebie, it's called
Violety Crumble, download

As you can see on the sheet on the right, I started the
card off in
Word. Printed all the digi's I needed, and my blue snowy sky made to fit, also added the sentiment
under the digi
, then printed it all out. So I'm sort of giving you uncoloured 'sneak peek' of my
next card, the little penguin with the stripy mug, hopefully it will be ready for next weeks reminder post.
A Change to win some tiny bottles filled with Gems and tiny stars as seen on last Wednesday's post. (Might not be the same)
I've already coloured the mug (with the penguin, with my Promarkers but, who can guess what colour Promarker/s I've used to colour it with?
Email or answer in the comments!!
You'll see the answer next Sunday! (I'll put the right answers if there is any, in a hat and pick one out) Okay
, that's it! I'm not here so hoping the timer will work! I hope to add this to some....
Challenges.
