No, honest, it isn't (the same cup of tea) but I do have a habit of making a cup, taking a slip and then suddenly realising two hours have passed and the tea's gone cold. So...I'm at work (the right work this week) and this is on timer, coz I got up half an hour before I went to bed to take these pictures for 'What On Your Workdesk Wednesday'. Pop over to Julia's blog and have a shifty at everyone's mess - I mean craftyness!
Not that much going on. A few ATC's for a couple of swaps. My Tacky Glue is ebbing it's way into the weekly photo. (The stick acts as the lid and then I can use it to dab on the glue) And a few scribblings I did last night. I was going to call it, 'In My Garden.' but that would be a bit of a fib as my garden is looking a bit shell shocked at the moment and the shed, although the inspiration for the drawing, doesn't really look like that, but it is blue, and the water butt does sort of lean to one side. Haven't quite worked out why when I scan and then print it out, it's smaller than the original...
Last week I asked what I'd used the talc for... and the answer is, un-sticky-ing a sticking butterfly, seen here and this was last weeks 'code'. It was my kitchen work top. Dark, Light and Cream. I did it all myself. (No kidding! We'd never have guessed!) There is a pattern but only members of the secret service who can keep a secret are privy to it... and now you know, so I'll have to shoot you!So, fancy showing us your work space? Perhaps you can go one better than a washing machine worktop or a cupboard under the Stairs! Come and join in, but be warned, it's very addictive!!
Have a crafty day!

ReplyDeleteI admire how neatly you colour images. I nearly got your code ...thought it might be a tiles plan but couldn't work out colours to fit.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great tip on the tacky glue. I had to click on the bigger picture and there it was, big as day! Loved it.
ReplyDeleteI was in awe of your tile pattern. Awesome.
Sorry I'm so late visiting, and on my first ever WOYWW. Unexpected company interrupted my computer time today, but I sure appreciate you dropping by and making me feel so welcome.
I love how you call your fantastic drawings "scribblings", they're brilliant! Stamps are for those of us who can't draw, I really don't think you need stamps!!

I Love your "scribblings" they're fab!
ReplyDeleteHi Lyn
ReplyDeleteJust love your posts they always make me laugh - thank you. As I don't have a work desk, desk or table top to call my craft space I think I will pass for the moment!! My bedroom floor isn'tt that inspiring!!
Hugs Ali x
certainly plenty going on on your desk, and dont worry, your not alone, i've lost count of the amount of tea thats gone cold while crafting lol
ReplyDeleteLove your busy desk so much to see, also the images you have drawn are beautiful! A true artist!
ReplyDeleteCardarian
I can relate to the cup. Many days you'll find a cup of coffee or tea along with a glass of iced tea or wine all at the same time. How do you keep track of your projects? you seem to have a few things going on at a time. Your colored images are adorable and I also LOVE how your counter tops came out. I would have never guessed that for sure.
ReplyDeleteoh i could rummage your desk all day...such good stuff!
ReplyDeleteooh lots of interesting stuff going on there. much cleaner and organised than mine.
