I printed some ribbon and added it to the inside of my Warren Rabbit Shaker card. The ribbon is a bit frilly, so there was a little bleeding from the black ink at the end, but only a little bit. A nice smooth ribbon should work better. It's probably a bit hard to see, but there's lots of little bunnies printed on to it! So Cute!

thanks so much for the tip! I am not sure if my inkjet printer might work as its always bleed whenever it get contact with water =(
ReplyDeleteBut I think I'll give it a try! Do you think its alright to use scotch tape to tape down the ribbon (tape the ends on the other side of paper)?
Dear Spyder
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment.I've had a go at the wording too but not thought about patterns and saw it on PP. Trouble is so much crafting-so little timeXXX
What a great idea Lyn
ReplyDeletethanks for the link too. If you get time would you share it with jj forum too as they will love it

Lyn what a fab idea, thanks for the link
ReplyDeleteMe again, sorry Lyn the link works now not sure what happened before
ReplyDeleteHi Esther! The ribbon needs to be flat, try it and see! I couldn't find my low tack tape, so used photo glue instead! I'm so impatient! (it peels off quite easily) but I used a frilly ribbon, a straight edged ribbon would be better. If your printer 'bleeds' try spraying with a cheap hair spray~ sort of spray the air and let it drift over it, or, what paper are you using, proper printer paper, not the thin fax copier paper.
ReplyDeletePS Thank you Jackie!!
Thanks lyn! Its work! I have yet to try the hairspray, but i will if I can have my hand on it, since it does bleed when contact with water. =)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing the printed ribbon Lyn, daren't try that on our printer as it jams if I try to print on card or heavy paper :( Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog about the song thrush. We were surprised to see it and hope it becomes a regular visitor.
ReplyDeletethanks lyn
